I’ve been taking He Shou Wu (Fo-Ti) root (often spelled “Ho Shou Wu”) on and off for about 10 years, trying several different brands during that time. This particular one is easily the best I’ve had so far. The flavor is genuinely pleasant — smooth, earthy, and much better than most versions I’ve tried. It mixes fairly well with water too, which makes it easy to take daily without much hassle. Some roots can be gritty or overly bitter, but this one has a really nice consistency and taste. I haven’t quite finished the full package yet, but based on my long experience with this herb, the quality, texture, and flavor stand out immediately. So far, I’m very impressed and would definitely purchase it again.

I have only had this product for a week or so. I was quite impressed with the packaging. The bamboo spoon is a very nice touch as well. I will admit that I was surprised that it tasted as good as it did. I think that it's likely way too early to tell what the benefits might be for me. It could be the placebo effect, but it seems as though my mind could be a little bit sharper, with better focus, for a few hours after drinking this tea. My question to the community of those who drink this is: do you notice flatulence after drinking this tea? It could be a coincidence, but it happened a few days in a row. And when I stopped drinking the tea, it stopped. I am lactose intolerant, so naturally I checked the box for any mention of milk or lactose and there was none. I will try again. Hello and congrats on making available a healthy and spectacular product! I just received my second shipment and I thought it was a good time to tell the wonderful changes I have had since using He Shou Wu. Firstly I will say that it has a very mild taste and I could only taste it if I mixed it with water only. Hot works the best for mixing, although if I am making coffee I just toss it in. This second shipment I received the little mixing spoon, as they must have been out on my first shipment, it's cute! I used a bamboo chopstick to stir before as you don't want to use steel utensils. Anyway, I have been noticing and so have my teenagers that the back and sides of my graying hair are beginning to turn a dark gray when they were a light gray to white. I was so surprised that it was happening so fast, but I am looking forward to seeing more results. I actually do receive a natural energy boost not jittery, so that is a plus, and I think it helped me get over the flu and not have it as bad as others in the house. I am going to try and get others like my husband to use this as I am not even done with the 1st bag and you get two in each box. So not sure if I can use more of the product than directed now since my body is used to it? Anyway thank you for making such a wonderful product, I think everyone should give it a try : - )

Honestly the taste isn’t horrible but it’s not great either. I wish I would have bought the pills of this. Also it’s hilarious to me that people on here use this in their coffee. Coffee depletes kidney essence and this supplement is exactly what helps build it. Ironic.

I was skeptical at first before buying this product, but the positive reviews moved me towards trying it out. Let me tell you this much, I was tired everyday! I took vitamins and supplements, but my energy was completely drained. Anyhow I purchased this product a month ago. Within the first week I crap you not I felt my entire body energized. Before this tea I had fainting spells, one recently nearly resulted in me breaking my neck and chin on the corner of a wooden table, and luckily my youth kept my bones from shattering. But it was eye opening. I became more cautious when getting up everyday, so as to not faint again. This tea has changed me completely. I can't say if I noticed a difference in hair growth, but the first week my skin looked glowy and clear unlike how patchy my complexion was before the tea. I could stand up fast and not feel light headed. I needed less sleep. I wasn't weak anymore, my breath changed because I wasn't experiencing the usual morning breath. Not sure if the tea was responsible, but I'd wake up and talk and my husband would tell me it's odd I don't have morning breath. Not that he smelled it before but I was so close to his face, I think he was expecting it but didn't smell anything to his shock. My bowls became regulated, and sleep is a breeze. Though I notice while taking the tea, that when i wake up I feel induced or like I'm waking up from a sleep aid. I'm not groggy but I feel like I was sedated unlike before I could just wake up. I have been trying to get pregnant for a few years with zero success, and I'm late for my period right now so hopefully this did the trick. Was wondering if anyone has taken this while pregnant, because I really don't want to give up the tea for nine months, but I will if I have to.
