It's so lightweight that I don't even notice it's on, and it allows me to carry way more than the tiny pocket on my running pants. The larger front pocket is perfect for an iPhone 4 or 5, there's a pocket for my keys, and a zippered pocket to carry a few gel packs. I can throw a light, long sleeved shirt or my sunglasses in the back pocket. The only thing it doesn't carry is water, but since water tends to add a bunch of weight to the shoulders and slosh around a lot when you're running, I find it easier on my body on longer runs to carry my water in a hand-held bottle anyway. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Light running vest! *by J***M on Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2014* I like the weight of the vest, it is extremely light. I love the pockets up front as they hold the gels, phone or a water bottle I need for a long run. The huge pocket on the back can be used to hold various items. I use it to hold a water bladder in place on the long runs in which I need the extra hydration. The pocket is a little short for a large bladder, but I use a plastic strap tie to secure it at the top of the vest so it won't jump up out of the pocket or flop around and that works great. The only thing I would suggest is to add another side strap on either side. I think this would help to better secure it and keep it from bouncing with heavier items in the pockets. I used mine on a recent 50k without the water bladder or bottle and it easily held the nutrition and phone I carried. Overall a good product for the price.
