Excellent item!.
I've been looking at kettle holders & tippers for some time for an elderly relative who cannot lift or hold a jug kettle safely every time. Mostly I've been put off various items by some negative reviews regarding stabilty or how the kettle is secured in the cradle. This product is excellent, the base is wide and stable enough to prevent any slippage and the bracket can accomodate a wide wange of kettles, mine is a jug kettle which fits fine and seems very secure.Instructions are very straightforward and it gives every confidence that it will do the job safely for years to come.

Most Helpful Gadget
I brought this for my mother, she is in her 80's and very frail, also suffers with arthritis quite badly, one of the places is in her hands, she really was finding it hard and struggling to be able to make herself a cup of tea due to not being able to lift the kettle (among a load of other items) to pour the hot water into the teapot or cup, since buying this item, it has helped my mother so much, it is so easy to set up, so easy for my mother to pour the boiling hot water into the teapot, cup or mug without spilling the hot water and harming herself, absolutely a brilliant idea, brilliant gadget and certainly one of the best items I have brought for my mother in helping to make her life much easier.KETTLE TIPPER CORDLESS

Was useful but not practical
Unfortunately the kettle gept slipping out of it's energy plate. Item fell into pieces when lifted but easy to put back how it should be. Cheap but did not use after shoulder was able to take the weight of the kettle. Would buy a different model if needed again.

Helpful gadget
Very helpful for my wife who finds it difficult to lift a kettle full of water. Obviously it does take up more room on the work top. Also a bit more space needed for positioning the cup or utensil to be filled. Overall happy with it.

Not very safe. Avoid.
This is a great idea in theory. Unfortunately not so great in practice. It takes up a lot of room and you need to allow even more to tip it. Great if you have a large kitchen. I don't know if it was the compatibility with my kettle, but I had to hold the cup in order to pour in the right place. There is a semi-circle part of the frame which is not helpful for resting a cup on - very unstable. If I use a larger mug for a proper cuppa I have to tip it so I can't fill it anyway. It would have been better if I could have put the cup on the side and the water pour into it without me having to hold it. As I have problems carrying things in my left hand, it doesn't feel safe especially when I have to change the place of the cup depending on how far I tip the kettle. It's awkward to fill the kettle if you want anything more than just a cup of tea as you keep having to fill from smaller jugs. If you want to fill the kettle at the sink, you have to fight with the velcro strap which is fiddly when your hands are not working properly. I couldn't tighten the velcro sufficiently so the kettle slipped off the base when I was pouring it - not so that it came off completely but enough to jolt it forward so it poured over the edge of the cup and over my hand which is now scalded. Given this product is for people who have difficulties with their hands/arms, my personal experience with this 'aid' is that I was better off when I didn't have it. I bought it because I was worried that I would scald myself due to my disability but this has only happened since I used the product. The frame also sometimes moves around on the side when I pour from it. Rather disappointing to say the least. Glancing above the box for writing this review it says "you could mention 'easy to use', 'sturdiness' and 'warmth'. I can't agree with the first two attributes but highly agree it is very, very warm indeed 😳

Brilliant design! (NB. pictured one is constructed wrongly!)
When you put this together as per the instructions with the 'A' (or inverted 'V') at the FRONT (rather than at the back as shown in the picture!), it works absolutely brilliantly. The stopper prevents the kettle tipping backwards, while allowing the kettle to be tipped forwards as far as you need (even beyond horizontal if your cord allows). The kettle base is easy to clip into the platform, using the adjustable clamps, and the kettle is then strapped in place. It is easy to remove the kettle, as the strap has a velcro fastening, but it is better to leave it in situ and just transfer water from tap (or filter jug) to kettle with the help of a small plastic jug. My elderly mum finds it perfect, following her slight stroke; it means there is no worry about her dropping boiling water on herself.

Perfect
Bought this for my parents - both in their 80's. Mum has a broken elbow that hasn't healed well so this was ideal for her to use. I have turned it round for her to tip using her 'good' arm. Just need to use a small jug to fill the kettle then it can be left in situ. Easy to set up, and easy to use, placing the cup against the tipper ensures no spills.
