Hose joiner.
Fits wonderfully, and clips hold it so there are no leaks.

Joiner great - clips not so good
The hose joiner fitted perfectly and is well made. The clips are sadly not that strong and twisted a lot while tightening. It was difficult to tighten the nut as it ended up below the wire that was adjacent to it and this, together with the twisting made it impossible to achieve a properly tight fit.

Size
This is supposed to be 1.5 inch but it is 40mm, 38mm is 1.5 inch. So beware if you haven't got it 1.5 inch hose that can't stretch don't buy this connector, it is however a good fit in my 40mm pond hose.

My only issue is that I am unsure of sizes, which makes ordering rather confusing…
