Sylvia Hill's guide to the third eye is clear and understandable for the layperson. Although I did not read it fully to the end, I'm adding it to my collection of "to be read when I have time" books because the content is valuable. It was one of Silvia Hill’s books about ‘the third eye’ that got me into her writing, and I’ve been a fan ever since. She continues to deliver on so many ‘alternative lifestyle’-topics! These books are such an easy read - if you know nothing about the topics from before it gives a thorough introduction, and if you know a bit about it from before it’s still interesting and you can certainly learn a lot. Due to the easy way it’s written it doesn’t become boring even if you know about things from before - it becomes a summary. Lucid dreaming is also such an interesting topic, and because of this book (and others) I’ve become more aware of my dreams, and learning about lucid dreaming opens a whole new world. The Third Eye is a must-read for anyone looking to learn more about yoga and meditation. The writing is engaging and informative, and the writer does an excellent job of explaining the subject matter in an accessible way. Highly recommended!

To say I’m a beginner is an understatement; I’m in over my head. I know some of the terms but my understanding is superficial. This is like trying to digest an advanced thesis in Quantum Physics when I’m in elementary school. While in over my head, this book is an outstanding preview of what I can learn, practice and transform myself into my highest self.I have a dear friend who pursued her spiritual journey for over 30 years, is a gifted guru who does mystical practices that are truly astounding. She makes everything look simple and easy in these matters. But there is no shortcut, no quick and easy way to learn these things but the effort is truly worth it.Silvia's book is a powerful and necessary building block. This book has captivated my interest and I’m determined to assimilate it and put it into practice. I strongly recommend this book. This book was an amazing read. While the book specifically focuses on the third eye chakra it does touch on all 7 chakras, as well as giving concise advice on how to go about healing and caring for each chakra specifically. There is also plenty of information regarding the third eye for anyone with no prior knowledge of it, as well as many sections related to psychic abilities, and lucid dreaming.The book also questions the reader regarding their intentions about the third eye chakra activation, and offers testimonials before going in-depth on the activation process. There is also instructions on how to deactivate the pineal gland in a safe manner for anyone finding the experience too much to handle. Once past the activation part the book goes more in-depth into how to develop psychic abilities, lucid dreaming, and how to use these abilities in a safe and healthy manner.This book is not meant for everyone and anyone interested in the subject matter or has an interest in things related to activating the pineal gland, psychic abilities, and lucid dreaming will enjoy this book. I was hesitant at first to purchase this with its minimal reviews, but I trusted my instinct on it! U really should listen to the latter! The problem with some medium books is that it is so overly complex that u tend to lose your train of thoughts. This is isn’t the case with Silvia . Well outlined, good presentation… sentences structured like she is just talking upfront at you… Im already near half way and have just received the book.
