Excellent Product
This was purchased for my son to paint his warhammer projects, and he seemed to be thoroughly impressed with its quality and performance.First and foremost, the pigment density of this paint is excellent. With just a single coat, he was able achieve a rich, deep black colour that provides excellent coverage over various surfaces. The paint adheres perfectly and dries to a smooth, matte finish. The consistency of the paint is also worth praising. It's neither too thick nor too thin, allowing for precise application and smooth brush strokes. It makes it effortless to paint intricate details without worrying about clumping or streaking.Overall, Vallejo Model Color 17 ml Acrylic Paint in Matt Black is a fantastic product that exceeds expectations in terms of quality, coverage, and durability. Whether you're a hobbyist or a professional painter, he highly recommend sadding this paint to your collection.

Great, easy to use with good coverage!
I have returned to plastic model building (after 30+ years) and find this brand fits my needs perfectly. With a good selection of shades, colours and finishes they are easy to apply, cover well and dry quickly. I by no means claim to be an expert modeler..... but I know what works!...... and for me, Vallejo paints and finishes don't let me down!....great paints that do what it says on the tin! (and does it well!)

Highly recommend
Really nice glossy finish, used on a metal model car after some customisation and super happy with it! It takes a while to dry but once full dry it's a really nice finish. It's a small sized pot but went a long way so think it's good value for money

excellent results with this product
Always had issues with applying varnish to models, but after reading reviews of this product bought a small bottle and was very pleased with the results. You can hardly see the brush marks, and the model has an all over high quality matt finish - would recommend.

Fine
Very good. I used it to give extra gloss to miniature figurines, which I made as a gift. I have made some of them from wood and some from ceramic and colored them with acrylic and nitro type paints. I put two coats of varnish, It looks very well.

My Go To Paint
Modellers are a tribal lot with preferences for paint, model manufacturers etc. Most of all paint. Now, I'm in that rare group who don't really have a huge opinion on each manufacturer because frankly every major brand I've used works well. Any problems are of my own making or the paint is ancient. However, my overall choice is Vallejo because of a few reasons. Firstly having returned to the hobby a few years ago I came across Vallejo paints in the super handy dropper bottles. A real revelation to someone who for years struggled with crusty Humbrol enamel pots. That immediately made me a little bit biased towards Vallejo.Next, Vallejo have a huge range of colours. More so than any other manufacturer and this makes colour matching any model easy. Now, the bit where people get hot under the collar and tribal. How good the paint is. Well, in my opinion Vallejo paint is excellent. I've never had any issues using it in five years apart when I make a mistake mixing to spray or the paint is old and lumpy. Even then I filter the paint and a couple of drops of flow improver and hey presto! Back to normal.Coverage is excellent. A couple of thin coats when spraying and a deep colour is obtained.Colour matching given the range of tones and variations is easy to obtain. This particular colour to my eyes matches well with the colours actually used when I compare to the real items in Bovington Tank Museum. I appreciated one has to also scale it to suit and in general a little lighter is often better for scale effect. This particular shade seems to work very well on a 1:35 scale panzer.Overall, my go to paint manufacturer.

Excellent model paint
Although this is model paint, I use it to coat stainless steel insect specimen pins to make them mat black and less distracting in macro photography. It does the job well and dries quickly. Although the bottle is only 17ml, this amount should last for years (assuming it doesn't dry out first). I'm very pleased with the paint, since it sticks to the stainless steel and leaves a good coating.
