I have been using one of these for a few years to remotely control the power to run a set of landscape lights. I wondered if I could control a second power location as I wanted to install a second set of lights off an outlet on the other side of the house. So - I bought a second one of these to see if I could control the other power with the same remote. I am happy to say - YES... it works great. I appreciate the programming ability of the remote control to do what I want. And now - I can use multiple locations off the one hand controller. I may get a third now to use for another location I am considering putting lights at. This thing works great..... And regarding the earlier comment about it not working outside - the one that I have had for 4 years has been out in the elements since day one (snow, freezing rain, tons of regular rain, leaf blowers, all sorts of &^%$) and works great.

Fantastic timer. This thing has survived outside for 3 winters (and summers) in the sub-arctic, regulary seeing temps of -40 F and getting snow kicked at it. I try not to let it get buried in snow, but it has once or twice without issue. I plugged it in 3 years ago and haven't touched it since. The timer control is really intuitive. I use the presets more than I thought I would. I like that I can use multiple presets AND a custom timer at the same time. Example: We select "5-8 AM" to turn on the extension cord to the car's winterization system so that we don't have to wake up early to go plug the car in, PLUS we use a custom time to turn on string lights when it's dark before 4 PM and we are returning from work. I live on the moon. If it works for me, it will work for you. I do wish the cord was angled sideways so that you could plug two of these into the same dual outlet. Then I could buy another and my string lights wouldnt have to turn on at 5 AM when the car winterization needs to turn on. Oh well!

Super easy and really good range for the remote control. It is also programmable for time or you can enter on then a delay off so the lights don't stay on all night. We have owl boxes on our property to help with the rodents, so turning everything off by 10pm has let the wild life stay and thrive over the past few years since we had it. For local authorities that have "night sky" lighting requirements, generally having a programmed timer passes code requirements.

I have a circulating pump for my water heater. This allows me to control the use, cutting down on my constant heating of water heater and power for the pump. Instead of 24/7, now I can only use when needed and probably only 12 hrs. maximum. I can easily set it to timer and forget about it, control it manually and it has battery backup to cover power outages when gone and my tenant still has hot water when needed. I'm very happy with this user friendly remote without even reading directions. If I had, there are many additional functions. :)

This is far and away the easiest light timer I've ever had. So easy, in fact, that I bought a second unit. Now I find either transmitter controls both receivers, thus defeating the idea of having two seperate programs. I suppose if there is enough distance between the two receivers I can use both units. Guess I'll move the units to opposite ends of my 50 room mansion .... oh, wait, I don't live in a 50 room mansion. I'll have to figure out something else. Still, this is a great remote control unit with one star removed for the inconvenience.

My timers are now four years old. They work perfectly. I don’t need the directions because the set up is intuitive. In other words, it makes common sense. Wonderful product.

This is a great remote control timer for home or office. It is very easy to program. The controls are intuitive with very little learning curve. The remote has a fold out stand for desktop use or can be wall mounted. The plug part has two outlets. The plug is heavy duty and can be used outdoors. The countdown timer is especially useful for us. The instructions are clear, well written, and easy.

Best remote timer on the market......I promise you that. I shopped for hours on end on multiple websites and still happy with my product. The remote is very easy to use. Finally, I can set my normal hours 5:00 until 10:00, but when I'm working from home part time, I love all my Christmas lights on so I can enjoy them. All I have to do is quickly hit the "on" button. It doesn't mess with my "set normal hours" timer!!! I no longer have to reach behind my Christmas Tree to press a button (previous timer). ALL OF MY LIGHTS turn on with just ONE remote. I'm extremely happy with this product because of the multiple options. It's not a timer that is on the actual wall where I have to reach behind something to get to the timer. It's not a remote timer that has one button to set it to 6 or 8 hour countdown or on or off. You will not be disappointed when you get it. I do wish I could have the option to just buy a receiver. Now, I have 5 remotes just sitting in storage.

Works great, I have the timer outside on the garage about 80 feet away from the remote in my house and no trouble. 1st set of batteries lasted about 1 year. If you've had it for a while and it doesn't work like it used to try replacing the batteries in the remote.

Very happy with the remote ease functionality for this product bought 11.22.2021 and delivered 12.14.2021 but seems to have developed a mind of it's own for programing. Due to less light hours in winter only used to 5 pm to 12 am function which randomly would turn off at 5:15 or 6:00 pm. At first judged it as inconvenient, but as incidents increased, reset the unit a few times to no avail. Today it came on at 4:00 pm and I decided to see what warranty or guarantee I had to find my time ran out on 03.04.2022. No I would not recommend this pricey, uncontrollable product. With Daylight Saving changes this weekend, I'll try it on 'My Time' to see if I have any better success. UPDATE: Unfortunately it didn't make any difference !

As advertised on the packaging you can purchase additional receivers… that’s not the case… I’m not able to purchase from Amazon or the manufacturer provider TouchSmart. to me it’s False advertising… and that’s why I would never buy again.
