Bought red, blue and yellow and they all worked beautifully. Looked good and cheap to run. Bought another blue bulb, but when it arrived it didn't work. After getting in touch with the supplier, who responded promptly and politely, I was given a full refund for the non-working bulb. Time will tell if the other bulbs last. I'll let you know....

Good effect

The bulb itself is very light and feels somewhat insubstantial but it works perfectly for my mother who, for some reason likes to have a dim, blue bulb on the landing ceiling. This bulb replaced the 25W incandescent that she has been using for years and as it is left on all night during the dark hours it will pay for itself in sort order using 22W less electricity every hour.The loss of two stars is because the guarantee is only one year - most manufacturers of lesser-know brands offer two, some better known ones offer five.

It's blue, and it sheds some light, but it doesn't colour the whole wall blue. Fine if you want a low level light with a hint of blue, but get the 5W GLS bulb (from same supplier) if you want deep luxurious blue all up the wall.

I liked these light builb as there good as night lights. They wouldn't be bright enough for reading or general use as the are only 3w
