To Be Honest

This poetry collection is a story of heartbreak, and takes you through the waves of grief you experience in its wake. Beautifully written, this poet does not shy away from the feelings of loss and sadness, while also addressing the painful but hopeful path to healing. This book has helped me understand my own feelings and has been on my bedside table since I bought it.

It felt like I was being swept along gently in all these different processes. My feelings felt validated reading this, knowing I was not alone in my thoughts and what I’m going through. It also felt eye opening at times, reading about grief and actually realising mine is still quite raw, and now I am grieving more since leaving university and being on the path to self love and change. This book is full of words I needed to hear and I can’t thank this author enough for that. Highly recommend and will definitely revisit and purchase in paperback.

Perfect book for when you need a reminder or to feel less alone in a situation

I purchased this due to my mother passing in March, the poems are beautifully worded and the authors words comforted me. I recommend everybody to read this at least once it’s filled with happiness, sadness, grief, acceptance and resilience, a lovely book.

I loved reading through this book. Words were touching and related to it! I think everyone should read this book.

Enjoyed this book from front to back and will definitely reread again in future.

This has some nice and cute little quotes and really helps when things are not so perfect

El libro llegó en la fecha estimada, el contenido es bueno y es lo que prometen pero hablando de la entrega y la presentación la verdad me decepcionó mucho, el libro venía muy dañado como se ve en las fotos, lleno de tierra (en las fotos ya lo limpié con una toallita) y como de un polvo color azul, el lomo del libro esta roto, y la portada está rasgada y como si la hubieran tratado de arrancar. Está manchado y las primeras páginas sí se dañaron (dobladas y arrugadas), no comprendo que pudo haber sucedido, tal pareciera como si se hubiera mojado o lo hubieran llenado de polvo azul. Estoy triste por la entrega ya que lo esperaba con ansias, espero que no le pase a alguien más.
