Micky Flanagan - An' Another Fing Live [DVD]

Micky at the top of his game. Don't be put off by the 'poor sound quality' moaning on here. The first 5-10 mins are a bit echoey but they sort the PA out soon enough and your rewarded with rib hurting, jaw achingly funny observations from a man who stands at the very peak of British comedy. Buy it, put it on and settle back for a gauranteed hoot of an evening.

A very funny nay hilarious banging the table trying not to fall over at time setwhich really showcases Mickey's amazing ability and intelligence.A few times he does some clever callbacks - something I always appreciate with a comedian - and they are brilliant.He is fantastic. never drops to the dark cheap levels of some comedians who could do better. I wish he would get him arse into gear and put out something new though.Come on Mick, shift son shift !

I have the talking book version and like a lot of stand up the body language is a very important part. The quality of writing is top drawer. There is an excellent feeling of form and conception. I am a huge fan and this didn’t disappoint me. If you like him then this is him at the top of his powers.

Was disappointed with this latest show not because he is not funny with his delivery but the running themes of the show were just not as good as previous and I could not relate to them as much. If comparing to other comedians 3 stars might be unfair but in comparison to his previous material was just not as good IMO which I would have rated as 5 stars

The cheeky Chappie is back at what he does very well - make (us) laugh. Some times you are left thinking "did he just say that in public" and then you realize he did - deliberately. That is his job to make us laugh and if that includes an occasional shock, so be it. There have been comics before he came on the scene that were no less risk taken. I like his delivery, tongue in cheek style and he comes across as a very funny individual. I recommend this DVD for any fan who hasn't already purchased all his earlier material.

I have seen all of Mickey's DVD's and they are all great but this one is the best!! So funny! I absolutely loved it. Sound quality was very good in my opinion. It was filmed at the 02 in London, a huge venue and I felt that he did a great job for the whole duration of the show! Not easy trying to keep an audience entertained for that long by yourself! So, well done to him. Bloody marvellous!

While he may not be everybodys cup of tea, his observational humour is delivered with a refreshing honesty which is as bl**dy hillarious as it is endearing. Mickey lacks the pomposity of other comedians and is the kind of bloke you would love to call a friend - you know - one of those ones which are a bit of a nightmare, but well worth the effort lol!.

I must admit that I prefer the televised DVD's, Back in the Game and Out Out, he does not need to be "blue" and swear so much, he is far too talented but DVD gave us a few laughs but not as many as the other two.
