Great fun. 100% recommend buying them
We had low expectations of these Battle Drones but thought that our (twin) boys (8yrs old) would love them so we got them. They're a massive hit and they worked out how to fly them fairly easily. Instead of battling, they've made games up in the park where they race them to different 'zones' and then make it back to the landing circle, fastest wins etc. Maybe that's why they're lasting a bit longer and, despite looking flimsy, they are pretty sturdy. Defo recommend getting them. Our daughter is 6 (almost 7) and she can fly them no problem and wants one of her own now too. :)

Excellent fun!
These are great fun, my husband and son (7) are really enjoying playing with these. They fly well and are easy to control. I've taken one star off as the attachments do clip on but not very well and I don't think it takes much to dislodge them....maybe that's the aim of the game but after only 1 day, we are missing 3 attachments that have disappeared on the lawn and as they are black, they are hard to see. An added bonus is for once I have purchased a toy that comes with batteries included!!!

A perfect first set of Quadcopters.
This review is for Airwars Battle Drones by MGA Entertainment Uk Ltd.Great fun for my son. These QC's have a soft plastic "saucer" which soaks up a huge amount of punishment. They have a good altitude hold ability, making them very suitable for kids as a first drone. The batteries last about five to six minutes, but remember to TURN THEM OFF WHEN CHARGING. I've see some "it doesn't charge" reviews. If you leave it switched on when trying to charge it, it will never charge! Turn the drone off before inserting the USB charging cable. One the subject of charging, it does not come with any kind of charger. Make sure you can either plug it into a computer or use your phone charger. Finally, you can increase the flight speeds after become proficient. They can reach about 25kph in the high speed mode. They won't break any speed records, but indoors this is very fast. Don't let the children use high speed until they can control them without aid.

Great fun for older children and adults alike. Hoover really well and doesn't take long to get to grips with the controls.

Good but poor contruction
My sons loved these but with in less than a week the connectors to the drones had bent - theyre very weak and not fit for purpose...***AVOID THIS SELLER*** - in trying to get my money back they want me to pay for the postage back.

Pleasantly surprised.
Was slightly worried that these drones would fail, but actually they have provided a lot of fun for my nephew. We have had several rounds of 'air wars' this Christmas and the drones have held firm. I was hoping that, as they were designed to impact each other, they might be less fragile than other drones. This has proven to be the case thus far.The battery on each drone lasts approx 5-8 minutes. They were very simple for an 11 year old to operate and control.Charging takes approx 1-2 hours. The outer guard does a good job of protecting the blades.Be aware that the propellers can be sharp, it actually drew blood when I took a hit to the face. Not particularly loud.Overall very pleased, cannot comment on longer durability, has been used daily since xmas 2016 with no problems.

Affordable, Easy to Fly, Durable
Let's all take a deep breath and remember that these are very small, very cheap drones. I teach robotics and have tried and tested many drones of all shapes and sizes in my lab. These guys I got for fun, for kids to just fly around and beat up. I got two sets and they are all still functioning and being heavily used. The kids love them. Yes, the battery only lasts a few minutes. What do you expect? Recharge it! Many other drones have not lasted. The plastic cage around the rotors works great for these. They have crashed hundreds of times and still operate like they just came out of the box. No other drones have survived my lab and my kids like these have. Plus they are super easy to control. Enjoy!

Just Great Fun
I bought 2 sets. Gave them as gifts. Everyone loves them and they play with them all the time. They are a little noisey but great fun. For the price... a great gift and tons of fun. No issues at all.

Charge problems!
Purchased as Xmas gift for my nephew. He really loved it. Only one problem, the drones stopped charging only a couple weeks after taken out of the box. Exchanged them for another set. One of the two new drones did not charge eight at first charge. So, don't waste your money and risk disappointing your kids. They look cool but they appear to have charging problems which essentially render them useless.

Inexpensive for a reason. Fun. Fragile electronics
Nice drones. Bought for my 2 boys, 10 and 12. Had no issues for about a week with them playing with them. Then one stopped charging. Looking into more closely was when I realized the charging ports we very poor quality. Misshapen for one with visible separation at the seams...very flimsy pins. One of them had bent completely over and that was the end of charging that drone. Learned after that to check alignment very carefully whenever charging the other one. I bought these drones because A) the price wasn’t bad B) you get 2 drones and C) my 10 year old enjoyed flying one at a local fair and actually did well with it. Bought on impulse without doing my research. Fun toys. Inferior electronics keeps the cost low.

Undertand charging the drones
One of the drones had very odd behavior upon. It would start and stop in total of 3 seconds. Unable to fly.solution: Run the drone until its 2 lights flash indicated low battery. BTW, they won't even take off if both lights are blinking indicating its time to charge. After exhausting the flight ability and getting the 2 light flash, turn off the controller. Leave the drone on to allow the blinking on the drone to continue until it stops.(now it is completely dead). Then, turn off the drone and connect the charger. Charge until solid green indicates fully charged. Any other version of discharge and charge will create unpredictable behavior. Run time is about 6 minutes. I alway run from full charge to complete dead before charging. I own 2 sets. I took a while to figure this out, but now I have dependable backyard fun. Yesterday I had friends over and we had 3 drones battling at the same time.
