Not Bad For The Price Point
I'm a Massage Therapist and I'm starting to do more Orthopedic assessment and treatments (which is where the Medical Massage community is heading) so having these models is useful for me when explaining certain conditions and their specific treatments to my clients. I agree with another reviewer that the bulged disc isn't as accurate as I'd like but I can explain this to my clients. It would be nice if the discs were spongy (they are hard plastic) and if the bulged disc actually ballooned with pressure (as I've seen on some models) but I expect I'd have to pay more for that. At this price point, it will do for my purposes.

Have a seat, it's Show and Tell time.
Finally, a perfect visual aid to explain what on earth is going on with my spine. After trying to purchase an extra spine model from my neurosurgeon without luck I found this one that is just as nice as his.Honestly, it helped me to 'see' the discs and nerves that are involved in a way that a 2-D image cannot. It's also pretty cool as a general display and oddity.

Full size lumbar
This breesky Lumbar Spine Model - Life Size Human Lumbar Vertebrae Anatomy Model with Sacrum and Spinal Nerves is pretty accurate depiction, and recently priced a $50. The disc do seem slightly bigger on one side versus the other, though. The nerves seem to come out appropriately except for the cauda equina which is not being shown. It also shows a this protrusion at L3 level which is interesting.
