Not as pictured
This is a response to the other reviews that I've read here, especially the one star which do bring up some legitimate issues.First, these are individually wrapped and the cardboard box they come in is feeble, especially given that they are posted out in the barest or mailer bags - it's waterproof, but no padding or structure. Nevertheless, they arrived in a usable condition.Second they are on the small side. I can wear them and I have a larger than the average head (large hat size) although they are not flattering (beak like - shades of plague doctors!). Ear loops are very tight. This helps the seal on the mask but is a bit painful. But my issue is that they are NOT those pictured on the Amazon site. the picture attached should make that clear with a different shape, different text and a distinctive zigzag stitching pattern. So, are they really "genuine", i.e., "CE CERTIFIED: European Standard EN 149:2001 + A1:2009" ? Quite possibly but the disparity makes me warier than I should be as a buyer and user of these.IShould Amazon carry these? Yes BUT only if the details on the site are an accurate account of the product. These are very reasonably priced but the tired old response of "you get what you pay for" is inadequate, especially in the case of items like this. After all, your health, your life or the life of those you care for could depend on these.Amazon should check in with the vendors, if, as they say, they are concerned with fake goods and reviews. Please remember, if this review is on the Amazon site, someone in Amazon has vetted it.EDIT - from the responses to my question and other reviews, it seems clear that Merrimen has changed its product or the vendors have substituted one for another. But the point remains, the pictures on this site should be of the product being shipped. And by the way, what happened to the amazon link to report inaccurate information on a product?

Does the job
Bought at the height of Omicron and note that the price has dropped by £10/25% now. I have not used any mask that hasn't hurt my ears (cloth, blue surgical, FFP2), and sadly these hurt the ears - I suppose in order to be effective, there needs to be a tight seal and hence the ear loops need to be short enough to hold the mask tightly against the face. As such, the seal is good and the masks are sturdy enough for re-use after sitting in a corner to quarantine for a week after use! Now that they are cheaper, I will buy more in anticipation of another variant...

Good
A longer elastic would it made it a little more comfortable to wear

Good quality and feel.
They feel really good to wear and seal well around the face and nose. You would may be struggle with any heavy breathing exercise as the filter medium is being sucked against the face when breathing in. The ear loops were good but gave me pain after a long while, like anything over 30mins continuous wearing. This was relieved with an adjuster strap and hooks to the loops around the back of the head and makes longer term use acceptable. I personally prefer masks with head loops but these were the best ear loop type I've used so great for short visits in places.

Utterly useless or do I thought!
16/11/2021 - apparently if you hold the mask up to the right light they are not holes as I thought. They are covered with some sort of film which a friend says it is plastic? So presumably they are OK. Still too big for me but I have made them fit.Arrived today and that’s about the only good thing I can say about these masks. Going by the reviews of people complaining they were too small for normal adult face I thought “these will be perfect for me”. Wrong. Too big. I have had to to put a knot in the loop.As you can see from the photo, what I took as a row of stitching are actually holes! What good is a particulate filter mask with holes? If that middle section is supposed to be the filtering part it is way too low on me.
