It comes with PC and Mac versions and its LIVE enabled. That means ACHIEVEMENTS!http://www.trueachievements.com/Battle-vs-Chess-PC/achievements.htmInstalls and works perfectly on Windows 10.There are 2 keys you need. 1 which is on the back of the manual to activate the game and the other which is included on a single sheet will activate the GfWL integration. ### ⭐⭐ Bug in the chess engine. Please email seller about compatibility before buying! *by E***D on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 10, 2018* The media could not be loaded.  There is a bug in the chess engine. I have better things to do than testing a game in different platforms, but I am specially interested in this game because my little daughter loves the animations. So I purchased both this PC DVD version here, and a Linux port from the TopWare site.You can read in this very same Amazon page that the manufacturer claims "Utilizing the famous FRITZ! chess algorithm". I do not see how that can be. The game has 10 levels of difficulty, and to my surprise it plays completely awful, sometimes worse than random moves from levels 0 to 6, and if you try levels 7 to 9 it simply gets stuck "thinking" and does not respond once the opening book is over.I emailed TopWare and they told me that it should take below 10 seconds to answer in level 8, even after the opening book is over, but in my machine I got tired of waiting after 5 minutes.I have a special interest as said, so I have tried the game in different machines of my office mates. Some Windows 10 64 bit, some Windows 8, with different CPUs, and it is the same everywhere. Instant but awful moves below level 7, or no moves at all in a finite amount of time in levels 7 and above. Then I found someone in YouTube complaining about the same issue but she or he managed to make the program work on an older gaming laptop with Windows 7Then I found a friend with a Windows 7 laptop and I tried and, yes, in that machine the response time at high levels is reasonable, and the game at lower levels seems decent.So, before buying, please email the seller first and list your hardware. Ask them if it is compatible with the game. And after you receive the product, test it on your machine. The way to know if you are affected by this is going directly to level 7 or 8 and playing a game. If the response time is of a few seconds per move once you past the opening book (i.e. 4 or 6 moves into the game more or less) then you are lucky. But if it gets stuck "thinking" at the 4th or 5th move, then you should ask for a refund. The main problem is not the response time at the higher levels, but the bad moves at lower levels like, e.g. bringing knights to the edge of the board and them back, or when the king abandons his square and does a suicidal walk to the middle of the board for no reason. Do not expose a learning child to that, it is going to be deeply counterproductive. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally a good animated chess game *by C***O on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 1, 2014* I've been looking for an animated Chess game for my son (and me). This is the best i found.
