The blades were clearly made out of Damascus steel and the sharpest blades I've ever used. They are awesome well worth the price.

The chef knife got a few nicks in it within a week, even though I make sure not to cut on hard surfaces. In any case I got it for the paring knife. In the end still great value

The large knife is cutting well, however, the small paring knife cracked right down the middle after two times in the dishwasher. Was very disappointed. The Sakon knives did not have the insignia on the end of the ir handles, which makes me wonder if they're fake from China

This knife set is amazing! It is made out of nice steel and is very sharp making food prep and cooking simpler. It’s comes in a nice box and has real classy Handle and pretty looking steel, it would make a wonderful gift for your kitchen guru’s!!

Nice knife but arrived damaged. Box crushed and chef's knife has a 3 inch scratch on one side of blade and 2 inch scratch on other. Don't think scratches are from shipping damage.

Great knife set. Sharp just as described and very comfortable grip. Love the textured surface so food doesn't stick to it when slicing fast.

This is a second purchace. I have purchased some expensive sets from big box stores and after a couple of weeks those knives dull and I have to sharpen. My wife uses this everyday for a month now and it is still as sharp as the day we unboxed it. Great product.
