Super sharp work of art!!!
This is a beautiful knife. It came very sharp, passed the paper cut test very clean. I did add some oil to make the action very smooth. This is a heavier knife so the flip action takes a bit more force. The blade and construction are very impressive. The grip is comfortable and the opening action is so smooth. I've never seen a knife this well made. This is a super good value, it's a work of art to me. You'll see what I mean when you get it. The knife quality is top notch. See pics

A Really Good Buy
Impressive knife, especially considering the low cost! Pluses: It's ruggedly made and feels strong and sturdy. It's a big knife. No blade play, no lock rock, no stripped screws (and the hardware is custom). It feels like you could hammer nails with this thing. It opens smoothly on bearings and in fact, among my various flippers this one may be the easiest to open. I mean, it flies open and locks with a satisfying snick. Also, it's just good looking. It doesn't look like your other knives, unless you happen to own the $1,100 Custom Knife Factory Decepticon, which this is mostly a copy of. Minuses: It's heavy, like a hammer, or like those old Buck knives your grandfather had. The detent is weak, which makes it easy to flip and so far it's good like this, but I worry it may eventually wear out. The finishing on the blade could be improved. It's not a big deal and most people won't notice, but there are some rough edges. The various facets, fullers, and bevels are very ambitions for a blade at this price point. Mine came sharp enough to cut things, but it's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. This particular steel, if we're to believe other Amazon reviews, needs to be kept a little oiled in moister climates to prevent corrosion. (This is not uncommon even in more expensive steels). All in all, I'd rate this knife an awesome score at this price, and I'm glad to add it to my collection. I'll even carry it sometimes... heavy or not. The design is beautiful and strange, the knife is sturdy and impressive looking, and bonus points for coming in blue and gold, the colors of my alma mater. If you're a knife person and don't have $1,110 for the CKF Decepticon, pick up this one, you'll be glad you did.

Quality & value are present in the model I received.
Nice knife. Blade is centered. Did not open like a "gravity knife" . A bit heavy but the blade is sharp and supposedly D2 steel. You also get a little box. Pretty decent value and is a pretty collectable on top of being a functional pocket knife.

Liner lock issues with unlocking one handed.
Lousy functionality of the liner lock. There is no space for your thumb to get good leverage on the liner lock to unlock the knife so it can fold back with only one hand. You will most likely need 2 hands to close this knife. Otherwise it’s a nice enough knife for the price. A little heavy and a nice visual.

High weight, high value.
First off, this is a supposedly D2 blade steel, Chinese clone of the 1100+ custom knife factory decepticon. So, if it's not D2, for 30 dollars I don't care so much. The grinds on my knife were actually really good, with an even bevel unlike some knives I've paid alot more for. The lockup is about 40% and early, I prefer a later lockup but that's okay. No side to side play at all, Rock solid. The pivot is on a captive ball bearing phosphor bronze washer system, which also works excellently. The knife arrived with minor scratches on the blade and the handle, not many and not large enough that I care for 30 dollars anyway. So ultimately though this is a heavy knife with some finish blemishes it's still compelling and an amazing value for what it is

An Excellent Knife
An extremely well made knife that has good weight, and a very awesome appearance and design. I would put it up against knives ten times the price in value and quality.

Cheap is...... Well Cheap
Cheap is , Well Cheap the finish on the knife has runs the paint when I first opened it up . Should have been my sign right there , The knife is a bear to open feels like the bearing is dry and catches even after a hour of opening and closing it's still the same , also the blade has a stress crack in it from the manufacturing process I assume very poor quality and the linear lock does not work unless forced in to position. The Plus or Pros probably after using some Lucas Gun Oil or has I call it the magic stuff it might open and close great by your thumb tho not the assist on the backside . The blade is sharp if your looking for a cheap knife for work or don't care if it gets damaged or loss I would actually skip this and just buy a another knife honestly and throw this in the trash
