I have some commercial towels that are 30 years old I use for drying my hair. I just inherited 2 American Living JC Penny towels (10-12years old) from my mother-in-law. These are perfect for drying my hair replacing my old commercial ones!! Unfortunately the JC Penny's match my guest bathroom so they will go there (they are still in good shape)..now I want new towels for drying my hair! All of these old towels are still usable!! Granted the commercial ones are heading toward the dog/mop up bag..then on to the rag bag.Most modern towels are too plush and too big for drying hair. I prefer smaller absorbent towels.These towels are great!! Prefect for wrapping my hair up in. They barely wrap around my waist. I hang them to dry so they are plenty absorbent. They aren't quite as thick as the JC Pennys but close..I'm happy!Being wring spun I figure these towels will last a long time.I think a lot of products on the market today are junk. These towels are not.These are not a big plush spa type towel..these are medium weight absorbent work horse towels. I am very pleased and would highly recommend these if this is what you are looking for!

These are nice towels if you want a middle weight towel. I purchased these towels for my ten and eight year old children. They are now taking showers and I wanted them to have their own big kid towels. I bought them in white and 2 sets(total of 12) I wanted them to be able to dry their body and hair. Yes i bought white for kids because they are drying off with them and hanging them up to dry not playing with them. They are a nice middle weight towel not too thick where it takes 3 hours to dry them but not so thin that they are rough. I use All free and clear detergent and lysol laundry sanitizer to wash them. I dont use any other kinds of chemicals or makeup or acne removal with these towels. Would definately purchase again.

I like these towels, HOWEVER... they shrunk like crazy in the dryer after one time, I'm 5'1" 130lbs and it barely wraps me adequately, my husband can't use them because he's too big he turned them into bath Matt's for himself. Also I have some threads coming apart at the seams after a single wash as well on a couple of them.They are super soft, and absorb well. If you need a lot of towels for cheap, this is definitely your best purchase! Not knocking it for that! They will get the job done for sure.

Very nice towels - soft and absorbent, BUT they are much smaller than a regular sized bath towel.Also some have threads coming out at the seams after a few washes. I like these towels, just wish they were bigger.

These are a nice color and medium In Size but they are not very thick or thirsty towels they are on the thin side. With them being so thin should be cheaper in price

They are a little smaller than most towels but it makes it easier to use them they're nice and fluffy and very absorbent. I don't know why the gold ones are nice and fluffy and a good quality and the white ones fell apart with the initial wash by gold ones

Nice towels

Normal size, normal feel, and normal size….. that is awesome. This is what towels were supposed to be like until manufacturers decided to make them half the size of a blanket and about as absorbent as the plastic-ish fibers they are now made of. Are these the softest? No. But they feel soft enough to do what they are supposed to do. As an extra benefit their size allows you to fit a week’s worth in a washer and dryer without it taking forever to clean and dry. After about 2 months of use, so far so good.

The other reviewers must have different towels to me!These are very small, like a small hand towel or extra large tea towel. They are quite thin and nothing like the picture shown. Yes they are absorbent, which is very good, but I wouldn’t call them particularly soft. I’ll be using these for the dog and in the kitchen; I’d be ashamed to offer these as a guest towel or in my bathroom. Still, I suppose you get what you pay for. Next time I’ll stick to M&S or Dunelm as I know the quality of those. Wouldn’t recommend and regret buying.

These are awful. I bought them to get rid of all of my older towels I have had for years and still not as faded as these. I prewashed before first use (never use bleach or any color altering detergent) I pulled them out of the dryer expecting my nice new fluffy towels and the color randomly faded in big chunks on these towels. so they are now dark grey and lightish mocha color. So disappointed contacted amazon because i have a pile of stuff im not impressed about either and i dont want to be toppling over (keep in mind I have spent over 3- 5000 just this month with amazon so Im bound to have something wrong not everything) I dont feel I should have to constantly go to the post office when Im not receiving quality items at all. and I got offerred at 12$ refund for a 36$ order. These are awful.

Idisliked the fact I was expecting large bath towels ! These were basically a large hand towel so to take a bath or shower you would basically have to use at least 3 towels to dry yourself! But I was stir'' happy to get 6towels fo£20 so can't really complain but I will defiantly look a bit closer on the measurements next time I order towels !bit lovely &white and nice quality it was just size I was disappointed with!!!

Nice big soft towels.Good value for money.

I washed the towels immediately after receiving them and was impressed by how soft they were. However, they are a little smaller than my bath towels, which is a great pity as they are really nice.
