Flannel quilt backing
It is soft and came over sized. It does not shrink when washed

Gorgeous fabric, perfect for what I want
Color is exactly as shown. Flannel is soft, thicker than everyday flannel, but not too thick or stiff. Not loose woven, so more warm and comfy. Love it!

Quality/Durability
Upon ordering, I really liked the colors of this brushed flannel. I received the item as ordered and on time. As this was going to be the backing for a quilt that took hours to construct, I did prewash and dry the yardage. I became suspicious of the quality after the first wash. I went ahead anyway to cut the fabric for my quilt and loaded it on my long arm. As I worked with it, I felt the fabric was too questionable to move forward with. I took a bath towel size piece of the scrap and put it through a couple more washing/drying cycles. I am disappointed to see each time that the fabric continues to deteriorate. The surface pile is pilling and the woven fibers are showing sporadic areas of thinning out. I will remove this from my machine and not be using it for the quilt. Not sure what I will do with it…pretty disappointed.

only has color on one side
I like this flannel material comes in wide width. I use it for quilt backing.

Disappointed
I ordered 6 yd of this fabric. The photo shows a lighter than it is. It's actually almost black. The fold down the middle of the fabric is very evident. Almost white. I called the company and the woman I spoke to said something would be done and they would get back to me. It's been almost a week and I've heard nothing. Mook Fabric got back to me today, six days later, and told me I had to contact Amazon. Amazon sent me a return label and they placed an order of six more yards of fabric to be shipped to me.

Great fabric, I used it for backing on quilts. Be sure to wash and dry the fabric before using as it does shrink quite a bit. Great price so be sure to buy more than you need.
