Brainwavz ProAlpha IEM Headphones

Very pleased with them. Accessories include a case and many caps of varying sizes and shapes to fit all shapes of ears, including a foam cap.The sound is also very good, much better than the Brainwavz Delta that I already found to be very good.

Decent sound quality however it has no volume/answer controls

Bought these as an upgrade from the delta, hoping it will have more powerful bass. Unfortunately it sounded worse than the delta, even though it's double the price.Packaging was really nice, the cable quality felt poor and sounded avarage or nothing special.

I bought these because I read the that the cord was strong: I'd been using very cheap headphones and they were only lasting a couple of months.Within a week of purchase, with normal use (probably several hours each day commuting etc) the left earphone had separated at the chrome ring.Returned, of course.

As ever, thanks to Brainwavz who continue to send me quality products to review. If money is tight these are a good way to be introduced to the Brainwavz brand, as they offer a bass heavy output for minimal outlay. I found them to be a nice snug fit, with no pain in the ear after prolonged usage. I like punk and was pleased at the sound generated by this product. The cable is quite secure, although not as 'chunky' as some of their other head or earphones. They also stayed in the ear as I pogoed around to the first Modern Pets album Modern Pets. Lastly, a feature of Brainwavz is the lovely little hard-wearing case they come with, not to mention the spare ear tips that are always handy to have.

I think these are very good earphones. They were sent to me by Brainwavz for review and, like others of theirs I have tried, they sound great once they are properly adjusted, and far better than I might expect at this price.They come with a very nice little carrying case and a good range of silicone tips for a good fit. The build quality is very good; the earphones themselves are made of aluminium onto which you fit the tips which suit you best, and a robust plastic sound-chamber. They have a good silver connecting cable with decent strain relief and the jack is gold-plated. This is plainly a well-made product.The description says that these ProAlpha earphones are "tuned for bass." They certainly are: the bass response is remarkable although middles are also rich and there is a good, bright treble which is hiss-free even at high volume. I tried these with my Test Playlist which I use for audio products beginning with 15th Century choral music, ending up with The Rolling Stones, Leonard Cohen and London Grammar and going through most things in between. They are fantastic on rock and anything which needs a good bass kick, and Leonard Cohen's deep, creaky voice on Old Ideas sounds phenomenal! Just for fun I turned the low bass up 10 dB on my equalizer to see what would happen and the earphones responded beautifully, with the deep bass on London Grammar's Hey Now absolutely rolling round my skull.The strong bass does make them a little unbalanced in classical music, with the violins in a string quartet sounding a little too mixed back, for example, so they may not suit everyone, but if you want a real kick in the bass the sound is great.Correct positioning in the ear is vital with earphones like this. They come with a decent selection of silicone tips and a set of Comply memory foam tips so you will be able to find the ones which suit you best and it's well worth taking the time to get it right. Once I had got the right tips in the right position the sound was excellent and they were very comfortable.These earphones (like all the Brainwavz headphones I have tried) are a quality product at a very reasonable price, giving excellent sound. They are well made by people who really know and care about sound and if you want a really strong bass response, I can recommend them warmly.

Sinceramente espera algo mejor despues de lo que había leido. La calidad del sonido es buena pero siempre que ajustes los auriculares muy dentro del oído. Si se mueven la calidad baja bastante.

Excellent rappport qualité/prix.Le packaging est complet avec 6 paire d'embouts, 1 paire d'embout en mousse, un clip et un boitier de transports.Coté son : les graves sont très présent mais ne débordent pas sur le reste du spectre. La définition des instrument est très bonne.A conseiller pour écouter des musiques rapide style Metal ou rock énergique.A ce prix là (25 euros), il y a peu d'équivalent au niveau de la qualité sonore.Le seul point négatif c'est la taille des embouts : si vous êtes comme moi et que vous avez les conduits auditifs un peu étroit même les plus petits embouts fournis sont un peu gros ce qui peut être gênant à la longue.

Il pacco è arrivato nei limiti stabiliti,le condizioni all'arrivo era ottime.Le cuffie hanno un ottima acustica,sono anche belle esteticamente e vengono fornite di una custodia molto bella.

Avevo il modello m1 e mi sembravano ottime, in queste il volume è molto più forte ed i bassi decisamente pieni e corposi tenuto conto che generalmente si usa all'aperto, per sentire meno bassi basta non tenerli completamente pressati all'orecchio, piccolissime regolazioni generano suoni completamente differenti, ma il pregio è che a differenza di molti auricolari non tendono ad uscire dai padiglioni auricolari. Ottime, ma non do 5 stelle per la custodia, molto carina ma le levette delle cerniere (dove c'è il simbolo della ditta) si rompono troppo facilmente puf facendo attenzione, nota veramente stonata con la qualità delle cuffie, Oramai mi sono rassegnato e ci metterò due anelle prese da una merceria, visto che la cutodia è sempre la stessa

Pour le son rien à redire, c'est vif, précis et dynamique, pas de problème. Par contre du point de vue de la fabrication, c'est assez bas de gamme et ça fini vite par se décoller. Une grille de la canule est partie et le revêtement en caoutchouc commence partiellement à se décoller, probablement due au fait de l'humidité des oreilles.D'autre part, au bout de 6 mois d'utilisation, l'écouteur gauche a fini par baisser légèrement en volume.J'ai voulu en racheter une deuxième paire. Amazon m'a livré un Brainwavz M5 à la place.Pensant naïvement qu'il s'agissait d'une erreur de leur part, je repasse commande et reçois à nouveau un Brainwavz M5 (le même que j'avais renvoyé!).C'est la deuxième fois que ça arrive et ça commence sérieusement à m’énerver.Amazon ne semble pas mettre ses articles à jour.DÉCEVANT!!!
