Galt Toys Water Magic Pets and Under The Sea Colouring Book for Children

My daughter loved these as a young toddler so they made a great gift for friends little one.They are really good for on the go, like the car or when out for a meal or something. Completely mess free (can even use fingers) unless too much water is applied and the pages can get a bit stuck together as they dry.

The pictures are interesting, lots to discover for a toddler. However, the pen is just not good quality. It doesn't let a lot of water through, ends up scratching the surface, ruining the paper, and is frustrating as you cannot 'paint' fast enough.After a couple of days I can already feel the paper is not the same quality and there are a few scratches here and there, will only get worse with time.Melissa & Dough 'Wow Water' brush is much better, so I will just use it for this product.

I am not easily impressed but this book is brilliant. Colour the page with water and the pictures appear but not only the pictures you can see but there are also hidden pictures that completely cover the whole page. I am impressed with it every time 2.5 yr old gets the book out. We also use a small paint brush with a pot of water to switch things up. Young and old will love doing this book over and over. The pages dry so you can re use them but not so quick that your little one will be disappointed that there colouring is disappearing. Buy it you will not be disappointed five stars all the way.

This is always in my nappy bag. So easy to pull out when out at restaurants and friends houses that aren’t used to messy child. No mess easy to use, just perfect.

This has been a life saver! When I have to stop to feed my 6 month old my two year old always decides that’s a great moment to try to run off. This has stayed in my nappy bag and we get it out every time, she hasn’t got bored of it yet!

What there not to dislike. My daughter aged 2 loves these. Great to take out or to keep her entertained at home, she feels as though she is really painting. Flips over the page and starts on another picture. Keeps her entertained for ages. Great today when waiting for Sunday dinner at the pub, kept her busy until it arrived. Best thing is totally reusable once the page is dry.

Bought these as a stocking filler at Christmas but haven't been very impressed. The pens are not good and are very hard for a little one to use as see dry all the time. We ended up using a wet sponge as she was getting frustrated.

I have now bought 8 of these books for my grandchildren. They love them and are kept amused for hours 'magic painting' all the different books. There's no mess with them and they are a great idea.
