Bristol Novelty CC659 Geisha Girl Costume, Small, Approx Age 3 -5 Years, Geisha Girl (S), World Book Day

My daughter had asked for a Mulan dress-up outfit for her Christmas. Looked into getting the official Disney Mulan oriental dress-up outfit but found these to be very expensive and not very nice. Found this dress-up outfit. It was well priced and looked like a very attractive dress. Took a bit of a chance on my daughter being disappointed that it didn't look like Mulan's outfit from the film and bought it. She loves it - it is pretty and well made and looks like a real oriental princess outfit. My daughter is quite tall for her age so even though she was only 5 went for the 6 - 9 year size which was a good thing. Slightly long at 1st which wasn't much of an issue as it's a kimono and wraps around so you've a bit of control over the length and it now fits perfectly. She has had and continues to have a lot of fun with this.

Absolutely loved this outfit on my 6 year old for world culture day at school. She received so many compliments and it's great value for money. I did however reduce the length of the dress from the bottom. Simple hand stitches did the job, so I'll rate 5 stars as I am very happy with the costume.

Good for dressing up. Surprised at quality.

Made of a satin like material, comes down to my daughters ankles and the belt sits a little loose at her hips but she is small for a seven year old, looks brilliant on and she's really happy with it as she loves dressing up. The front is fully enclosed so no worries about wearing clothing under for modesty, light weight material, the box velcro's on to the back of the belt which is also detachable from the costume, printing is vibrant and evenly done and the stitching looks sound

Amazing value for money. Came quickly. Good quality material. A little long but my daughter is very very petite. I was concerned about the bow after reading various reviews but hers stayed on all day. She looked amazing and it’s a costume she’ll use over and over.Quick hem stitch solved the length problem and if need be I’ll sew the bow on so she doesn’t lose it. (Fan purchased elsewhere)

A perfect gift for my niece who loves dressing up and different to the type of costume you can buy on the High Street.

My daughter looked adorable in this she's 9, but the 10-12 fits well, so I would buy the next size up! Its a good costume looks authentic and my girl loves it .. bought the fan too, it was only a couple of quid!
