I hesitated to pay over 60 dollars for a urin separator but it's freakin' nice! Excellent product quality. Makes life easier.

after a little over a year of use, I'm redesigning my toilet. this diverter is great for diverting the pee, but the solids shute is too small. I almost never hit the hole just right. then I have to clean the diverter. 5 inches is not enough clearance for me, and probably other women too.

Built my own composting tolit. With a few other things. Easy to use and clean, if you are looking in to that kind of tolit. The value is in getting the stuff and make one. It's well made.

Liquid hole is too shallow, men you are going to bottom out but after awhile it will feel like sack support. Rear hole isn't very wide so you have to practice your aim otherwise nevermind...

Bought this to use for my off-grid cabin I live full time. It's done everything for me for my number 1's and my number 2's! It's easy to clean and maintain. I use bleach to clean it and I use a bucket with cedar shavings and cinnamon mixed in. That helps keeps bugs away and suffocates the smell. For the pee diverter side, I went with some schedule 40 pvc going into a container with a lid. And I use essential oil for that to help with the smell. You could also use cinnamon instead if you want as well.

I've had a composting toilet for @4 years now and my first urine separator/diverter was 3D printed so the ridges made cleaning difficult. This one here is smooth plastic that is easy to clean. Also this design has a lip at the edge of the separator that extends down into the bucket, so any liquid that hits the edge goes straight into the bucket instead of down the underside of the funnel and down the outside of your tube and onto the floor. The drain hole is bigger which forced me to upgrade from a waterhose that kept getting clogged anyway. I just bought a second one to convert my garage toilet, and will definitely refer family and friends to this exact composting urine separator. It feels sturdy too, good quality.

I originally had a divider from a uk company that was perfect, but it was sold in my previous rig. I purchased this one for my new build and the dimensions are just entirely off. You either get **** on the toilet seat from trying to sit so far back to hit the hole, or **** on the dividing wall sitting normally. Its the worst designed thing i bought for my 4th rig build.
