I had to change the belt in my exercise bike and having done some research, found I needed a crank puller to take the crank and pedal off the side of the bike to get at the internals to change the belt. Have to admit, I’d never even heard of a crank puller until I looked into this!Lots of YouTube videos on how to use one of these tools, and they all recommend adding a bit of grease or other lubricant to the threads before using. I did a test attachment first to make sure the puller was the right size for my crank, and didn’t use grease and it was very stiff. Adding grease when it came to using it to remove the crank made all the difference. Kind of obvious I guess!Worked well and seems to be pretty sturdy. Hopefully it’s not something you’ll have to use very often, but absolutely essential when you do.

Does exactly as it should even on the most stubborn crank, three changed with no effort at all, was looking to buy a socket for bolt removal but this tool did the job. Wotrth putting a little grease on the thread before use, went mid range on price when buying and saved £60 if the cranks had to be removed by a local shop.

Worked perfectly, well made. Be aware that there are oyther types of crank arm fitting too.

It does the job, had to use a spacer to make it work on my bike.I’m unsure how long it would last if used regularly,But , it’s a tool for a job that unlikely to be done repeatedly.Ok for the money!

These are not universal as it says in the title. Didn't fit my shimano.

Not good a product. Threads stripped on puller after about 5 uses. You think you are getting a bargain when you get two. There are better quality pullers out there. Not value for money. Ok if you are fixing your own bike but not suitable for someone who fixes bikes. Won’t last after a few uses.

Perfect replacement for my old, worn tool. I was able to remove and use a crankset that I feared had it's threads stripped beyond the point of being able to salvage.

Nachdem ich, zugegebener Weise naiv, meine Pedale, genauer gesagt, Kurbelsatz nicht mit dem Gummihammer abbekommen habe, bestellte ich diesen Abzieher. Letzten Endes handelt es sich um zwei spezielle Schrauben und Muttern, die ineinander gesetzt sind, um die Kurbeln am Fahrrad abzuziehen.Die Kurbeln sitzen auf dem Vierkant relativ fest auf, da das Vierkant leicht konisch ist und sich durch das Anziehen der Schraube zusätzlich aufpresst. Ohne Abzieher bekommt man die Pedale, genauer gesagt Kurbelsätze, eigentlich nicht mehr herunter. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass es unterschiedliche Kurbelwellen und Kurbelsätze gibt, was die Montage betrifft. Dieser Abzieher ist nur für die sogenannten Vierkantwellen geeignet.Nach dem Abziehen der Kunststoffschutzplatte von einer Seite der Kurbelwelle, lag das Innengewinde frei. Darin lies sich der Abzieher auch leicht einschrauben. Diesen schraubt man dann erst einmal soweit ein, wie es geht. Beim Einschrauben des Innenstücks, mit dem man letzten Endes die Kurbel abzieht bzw. heraus drückt, gab es dann die ersten Probleme. Das Sechskant hat ausgerechnet eine Größe von 16 mm, während übliche Schraubenschlüssel in der Abstufung 15 mm und dann 17 mm geliefert werden. Der 15 mm passt nicht drauf und der 17 mm verdrückt sehr leicht das billige, weiche Material dieses günstigen Abziehers.Entweder man besorgt sich einen relativ speziellen 16 mm Maulschlüssel oder legt ein hartes Material unter, um mit einen 17er Maulschlüssel drehen zu können. Wofür das Innensechskant am Ende des Abziehers gedacht ist, kann ich mir auch nur schwer erklären. Inbusschlüssel in dieser Größe sind unüblich, diese sind auch im hochwertigen Werkzeugkoffer nicht enthalten. Ein gewöhnliches Außensechskant hätte hier deutlich weiter geholfen. In anderen Ländern hat man eventuell anderes Werkzeug, als in Deutschland.Mit ein bisschen Herumbasteln habe ich die Kurbeln dann doch abbekommen. Von daher für den Fahrradbastler auf Gelegenheit mit Improvisationsgeschick durchaus geeignet. Profis, die einen Abzieher für regelmäßigen Einsatz wollen oder Amateure mit zwei linken Händen greifen dann doch eher zu einem an deren Produkt. Dennoch volle Punktzahl aufgrund Preis-Leistung.

L'estrattore ha funzionato bene. Il materiale è buono e resistente. L'ho sforzato parecchio e ha retto (ho smontato la guarnitura incrostata e sporca della mia vecchia bici di 20 anni). I tempi di consegna sono stati rispettati è arrivato prima dells data prevista. Rapporto prezzo qualità buono.
