Portion control made easy
A very useful aid to portion which is also an exceedly attractive porcelain plate into the bargain. Forget melamine, get this.

These Portion Sizes are Enormous!
I wanted one of these plates because I loathe counting calories and I tend to overdo it with the carbs. This is by far the classiest of the Eatwell plates I have seen. The design is really nice, and I was astonished at the size of the plate. I went back to my notes and checked that it is in fact the correct size! (And it is.)I have used this plate often since buying it, although not at every meal. Sometimes it works better for me to use a pasta bowl if there is sauce involved, like with a vegetable and lentil curry.I'm very happy with my purchase, which I think will help me lose weight over time. It can be used in the microwave if I need to warm up a dinner that is a little on the cool side for my preference. I'm pretty sure it would go in a dishwasher but I haven't bought one of those yet so I can't be 100% sure! And as mentioned, it's more attractive than the other plates of this type in my opinion. All in all, it's good value for money in my mind.

Portion sizes
The plate is perfect for portion control,it makes you want to eat healthier ,thought it was a little overpriced but on the whole pleased with it

Pretty but too large.
The plate is ceramic which is good and with pretty pictures but way too large for a person trying to reduce their weight.

Nothing but a gimmick - DONT USE IT.
I've got to give it 1 start otherwise I cant give it a review.It's a gimmick.Use a side plate, a sandwich plate if you need to reduce portion size.Sounds stupid?Not at all.Even with this plate you'll get portion size wrong because of calories allowed.100g of raw chicken breat is give or take 240 calories.That easily fit in the protein portion on the plate.I'm allowed 200 calories per meal not just for the protein part of it!Then people will pile the plate with food and it'll fit in the sections, you'll over eat.It's gone in the bin.Use a Sharpie to portion up a side or sandwich plate and mark it with the letter P protein, C carbs etc
