Lightning fast GPU
These gpu's are fast, with 24Gb of memory, any game my gaming kids throw at it just produces fps so high, all I now hear is wow after wow, they are expensive but have been worth every penny, i built two gaming rigs both using these cards in an AM5 platform and can say they were very easy to install, they come with additional mounting arms to support them which was great, they are quiet and have very big heat fins on them, they come with 3 fans to help keep them cool, the build quality is very high and overall gaming performance is impressive, check you have enough room in your case as these will take up 3 slots on the rear of your case and are long. You wont be disappointed - one last thing, you will need a 900w or higher PSU, I bought the corsair RM1000X which allows these GPUs to run without issue.

Great Price to Performance 4k UHD GPU
I bought this Powercolor Reddragon RX 6800 xt over a 40 series Invidia GPU as the price at the time of purchase in comparison between AMD and Invidia is an absolute steal, especially with that extra 4GBs of VRAM! It's way too overkill for my 75hz 22f HP monitor which is meant for 1080p gaming or casual use! It does have AMD Freesync and lot's of other settings though. But I must get a 4k UHD Monitor or TV for the games to look and perform the best they can with this GPU. Some people say they don't like the red LED Logo on the side so they switch it off, I like it so I keep it on. Yes it does have a bit of coil whine, which comes and goes every few seconds, but it's barely noticable. But thats normal for most GPUs it seems, and I quite like the sound anyway, you won't hear it with headphones on. The fans should only spin for a few seconds when the PC is turned on each time, and if the GPU temp gets too high from pushing it to it's limits. So thats normal. I am a bit concerned as I have noticed the Temperature has gone from 33 C on average to 51 C average for some odd reason, even when I'm only browsing the Web. There is no dust build up yet and this GPU does not require thermal paste which I never knew some GPUs do. Overall extremely happy with this Graphics Card, it arrived much sooner than I expected too, It was shipped from the US to the UK much earlier than the expected delivery date.

Great card with grunt and the VRAM to match.
Awesome card in terms of size and power! Basically double the power of my old 6700XT which is totaly worthwhile and also 20GB, so I keep out of the 8GB is bad and 16GB is tolerable fight. Wasnt worried about the newer cards coming out as I dont use all the fake upscaling and fake frame generation stuff. Raw rendering or nothing for me. No stutters or lock ups, all working perfectly. I timed my purchase just right. Got this mid February and now end of April prices are crazy again. Great card!

Freezing is a common issue
I bought 2 of these, 1 for me and another for my son. 1 just locks up randomly freezing the system, youll do some homework and find loads of people asking online how to fix it They blame the drivers so you try an older driver They will blame the adrenalin software so you try without the adrenalin or an older version, They will say its a power issue with the power spiking over the boards limits so you use tuning to lock it at a lower speed. The issue I found was the driver would timeout on idle, and no fix will work As a note the adreneline in the driver pack from the last 5 months lags like crazy, right click on desktop and it wont show in the menu, right click again and its there, click it and it can take an age to popup, the older adrenalin is instant so theres changes there None of these work, as I mentioned I bought 2, and with my sons PC I had the oportinity to swap them out, 1 of them works and the other freezes on both systems, so its obviously a card flaw, the problem is loads online are looking for a fix to the freezing and odds are they are never going to fix it as its the card itself. So if you have a card that freezes just return it, dont chase ghosts Now the positive is the second card works great, no freezing, no problems at all, the odd artifact on boot but nothing else, the frame rate will double from my 3060, but as I had problems with the second card I am not holding my breath, I also got 2 of the Saphire versions before the hellhound and they both artifacted everything and had to be sent back, I am not going with AMD in futute and going back to nvidia

Speed, power, VRAM, MSFS2024 4K Ultra
Can highly recommend! MSFS2024 Killer! Upgraded from a RTX 2080 to this 7900 XTX. MSFS2024 on the RTX2080 use to be on 4K medium and got "out of VRAM warning". Now on the 7900 XTX, no more out of VRAM message and graphics settings all set on 4K Ultra. Just done a 3 hour flight in 4K Ultra and did not miss a beat!

I have had several 7900 xtx cards, mostly sapphire nitro +. I needed a smaller card for a new build and they are to large. I tried the power color red devil spectral 9070xt and it is way to long. Insert the hellbound 7900xtx. It's only a 2 x8 pin power card which is surprising but can pull over 350 watts with ease. After my system not recognizing the card and some sweaty panic moments thinking I bought a dudd, I managed to delete all the amd software and start fresh. Working now 100 percent and seems to perform as good as the sapphire cards. Overall I am happy with this card for performance vs cost as a 4090 is unobtainium these days. For reference my case is a thermal take tower 500 and this card fits with around 3 mm of clearance for length. Phew!

This is my first venture into AMD GPUs and first time purchasing Power color. Previously I owned Asus ROG or TUF GPUs and was skeptical at first to order another brand, however for $530 for a 6800XT (Comparable to RTX 3080) it was a no brainer. Here is a summary Pros 1) Excellent build quality minus the fancy RGBs (There is a beautiful Red Dragon Logo in Red LED which you can turn off with the LED Switch if you don't want it) 2) There is OC / Silent BIOS switch . My focus has always been noise free gaming build on a micro ATX/ITX case so Silent BIOS with a bit more undervolt was the perfect combination for my RIG 3) Card is absolutely Silent (ZERO COIL WHINE!) . Make sure you plug two separate PCI E cables (Not the split) directly from a good brand PSU. I use Corsair RMX 850W . 4) GPU Fans stop spinning somewhere below 57c. Fact - I run OW2 at 1440P/ 144hz with all settings maxed out and GPU temp is at 55c-58c with this card. COD MW2 (Not so optimized yet with lot of bugs with some tweaking runs under 72C GPE Temp. Near silent gaming ! I have two Intake fans right below the GPU to cool it further down quickly to reduce stress on the GPU fans 5) Runs every game at extreme or ultra settings flawlessly. This is a rasterization beast for what you pay for. Nothing from nvidia comes to close to this card for the price you pay including the Lovelace or even RDNA 3 from AMD. Price to performance award from me goes for 6800XT If you are into 1440p maxed out gaming or 4k at medium settings this card will deliver except ray tracing. However I dont stop in game and see if the reflections are accurate in each frame. Who really cares when most games already have beautiful reflection techniques without Ray tracing enabled! Check out Forza 5 Horizon or Spider Man Remaster for PC. You dont need ray tracing to deliver beautiful in game reflections at extreme settings Cons 1) AMD Adrenaline is a cluttered compared to Geforce experience. Game level optimization is limited but I don't really care. I always changed the in game graphic settings which gives me the most optimal performance. Summary : You are into high end gaming at 1440P with minimal to zero noise , good build quality and your priority is rasterization and not ray tracing.. Buy this frame crunching beast... Kudos to AMD and Powercolor for making cards like this where you don't have to sell your kidney to enjoy gaming! Nvidia, are you listening? AMD just converted a 27 yr Nvidia guy to Red side!
