Gutermann Sew-All Thread Note Book, 100 Percent Polyester, , 42 x 100 m - Multi-Colour

I bought this set in Jul16 in a Prime Day. Its an excellent resource and economical on a per reel basis. I have displayed my set on a wall rack so I can see them all. It has an excellent range of colours in the set which means you always have a colour to hand when youre in the middle of a project (who wants to be held up on a Sunday afternoon because you havent got the green thread you need!). The box provides great storage if youre short of space.Worth the investment if you sew regularly from a good quality producer.

I love this machine thread and have already used quite a few colours. There's a choice of 42 all different shades, with probably more dark colours than pastels on balance, so it's unlikely you couldn't find one to match near enough to your fabric. The case opens like a book with 7x3 spools on either side, which are snugly arranged in foam so they don't move or fall out. They are then covered with another thin protective layer of foam. The thread is my favourite make for my machine as it's very good quality and doesn't snap easily. I can even fit a few small bobbins between the spools so I can keep the matching loaded bobbin with the thread. It seemed a bit expensive but works out much cheaper than buying all the spools individually, and, although you might like to buy the exact colour as you need it, it saves you having to make a visit to a haberdasher whenever you need a new colour, which has been brilliant during lockdown. This is an ideal present for any sewer and I'm sure it will be very well-received. Or, like me, you could make a present of it to yourself!

Bought this at a discount during one of Amazon's Christmas deals. I started using Gutermann sew-all thread for all my home sewing several years ago. This is quality thread that doesn't shrink when washed unlike most of the cotton threads I've used in the past. They are beautifully presented in the form of a 'book' containing 42 x 100m reels in a broad range of colours. Each of these 100m reels costs over £2 to buy singly so 42 of them would cost about £80 or more. When I saw the discounted price of just over £33.00 I couldn't believe my luck. This was a real bargain and even at the current price the book is still an excellent buy for any home sewer.

This really is a lovely item. I bought one for myself as a load of threads I'd purchased cheaply elsewhere just seemed to be clogging up my sewing machine. After reading about these I took the plunge and honestly wish I'd done so sooner. The quality of the threads is amazing, having been tried and tested on a number of different materials, and the colour choice is varied. I quite like the packaging too, so I don't feel I have to remove the threads and store them some other way. All in all, I'm chuffed to bits with these!

This came quickly and very happy with the quality, couldn't wait to start using it. There are some foam pads which quickly become annoying though as they keep falling out (not sure if that is just for delivery protection or if they should stay there). I started using them straight away and the quality is amazing, they didn't break at all like some cheaper substitutes. I would definitely recommend this because although a little pricy it is definitely cheaper than a) buying them separately and b) cheaper than other packs I've seen around for similar sizes/amount of thread.

If you or someone you love likes to sew, this is what you need to buy. It is so practical and useful but beautifully presented at the same time. Gutermann sew all thread is my go to thread and cant be beaten for quality. This set gives me such a fantastic selection of colours to choose from and all stored so neatly. I just love it. Fantastic value compared to buying everything individually.

This is a great addition to a beginners sewing box. I am learning both dressmaking and quilt making and I need a variety of colours when I change either project or fat quarter, this is perfect. Gutermann make excellent quality threads, and these are ideal for beginners who may not want to practise with the more expensive quilting threads, or for dressmaking projects which you can use either cotton or polyester threads. I love having this variety of color so I can choose a thread to match my project rather than having to use a limited colour palette. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants or needs a good range of colours.

Ce produit a fortement augmenté par rapport à l'année d'achat ( +30€, acheté en 2020 me concernant), mais il est vraiment utile. Vous avez un choix de couleurs vaste, le fil est de qualité, notamment pour l'utilisation avec machine à coudre.Je recommande fortement, Gutermann n'a rien à prouver dans le domaine!

This was a great purchase! The thread itself is my favorite sewing thread and the colors are the ones that I like to keep on hand! So it is a win, win for me! My granddaughter asked if I could get it for her for a gift! If you are sitting on the fence about purchasing it - my advise is to go for it! You won't regret it - it is a great purchase!
