Overall these pens write nice and smoothly, but occasionally the ink gets a little sticky and leaves blobs and trails of ink behind.

Really nice to write with
I know, a biro is a biro, but these are great as the ink is maybe a little thinner so comes out with more ease. You don't get that dry start point like you do with some biros - they write really smoothly and easily.

Ok for jotting notes
I bought the standard cristal pens yesterday from tesco but they were not smooth at all so decided to buy these as these are supposed to be a little better. But i see no different they both drag the pens are not smooth they are the type of pens you use when u are looking for a pen quickly to write a little note. They are not the type of pen to use if you write a lot like i do.
