Just what I needed
My old one was, well, old... and worn out. This is great. (Also blue, my favorite color.) No ties strings to break - elastic stretch. Tight at first going on, but secure.

surface tore after less than average use
top surface of cover tore after only about 6 weeks of light to moderate use. I've had a lot of ironing board covers over many years and this is the first on that tore. too late to return when it tore.
