Functions as advertised and is well made.

When plugged into my Grundig Satellite 750 it cut off the battery power but did power up the device.Perhaps I have a faulty device or I needed to change some setting on the radio? Open for suggestions.

Very noisy with my radio, short wave is unlistenable.

I'm not sure how to answer your questions. My radio has bee discontinued. It was a Grundig Satellit it requires a AC-DC 6 volt power supply. I have purchased one power supply it shuts off the radio or displays "lo". I phoned Eton in California (I'm in Illinois) and the Sales Agent knew exactly the radio I was about to inquire about. In order to purchase one from Eton I must send a check for the power supply + S&H. Due to the weather I'm holding off until we have more suitable weather. I'm a Amateur radio Operator, yet the little Grundig is in my morning (12:30-5:00 am) room. The Grundig Satelitt 750 has been a good little receiver. I've listened to "down under hams" along with many QSOs in the US with only the internal whip. I ran a wire to the attic hooked to a 3' antenna and was listening to the entire world. Even received the Antarctic. I see they price has tripled for one of them. I'm listening on the internal antenna to 80m QSOs every night.....well, last night even 1k watt amplifiers were hard to receive. Very poor propagation. Solar Cycle 25 is on it's way though!!!!
