tonies Audio Character for Toniebox, The Highway Rat by Julia Donaldson, Audio Book Story and Song for Children for Use with Toniebox Music Player (Sold Separately)

We’ve bought over 20-30 tonies for the kids (age 2-7) between my brothers family and ours (age 2-4yrs). We used this in lockdown to do a zoom birthday party for my 2yr old. The music and games at the end were a great bonus to the story. We would love to get the whole set of stories created by Julia Donald as the kids love them. We don’t have a carry case but think this would be a great purchase too so you can make it easier to travel with the tonie on holiday or to carry around the house. Also a shelf on the wall would be very handy to store the Tonie box and characters, with easy access to Tonies.

Arrived quickly. Character looks sturdy, but unopened as yet as this is a Christmas present.

Brilliant item , great value for money

The product itself is a good one. The quality of the figure and the contents of Julia Donaldson's story combined makes the £15 seem a little less like daylight robbery.However, I would recommend people to just get creative with the creative Tonie instead. Our family is spread across the world so as a test we had grandparents record themselves reading stories on WhatsApp and send us the audio files. A quick upload later and now you have a much more personal experience that can be updated as you (just save the old audio files on your computer etc.)To sum up; a good product overall, but in my mind deemed redundant when compared to the flexibility of the creative Tonie

Another great tonies character, the highway rat is great

My daughter had five different Tonies for her birthday and this one remains the best of the bunch.I would probably attribute that to Julia Donaldson's writing more than anything, but this is definitely the best it gets when it comes to £15 Tonies.I would recommend getting the creative Tonie and having family members record themselves reading favourite books instead though. We have family scattered across three categories continents but the fact that Granny can record herself reading a book via WhatsApp is so much more personal and convenient than splurging £15 on these none changeable figures of varying quality.
