I offered them security marking in case of loss as there were a few misunderstandings over similar looking equipment - No one wanted to "mark" their pristine equipment - so using this "invisible ink" has been very popular. The pens are easy to use and after a few minutes leave only a residual mark that needs scrutiny to be seen under normal light. Under UV or "black light" the marks can be seen easily. Even after one student washed the equipment with soap and hot water so they could not see the residual outline of the marks; the ink was still clear under the supplied UV light. You get a lot of pens for your money here but the little UV light is not great - it does the job but is too easily lost. However I have a much larger light in the school for checking found items and claims of students to their equipment.
