Place a pan on mat which was being warmed in a oven @ 250 degrees to have it burn it. It is a waste of money since it states 300 degrees. Would never buy again

Not only is this adorable (I bought the grey star one) but it works perfectly. I have wood countertops and was worried hot pans and dishes would ruin it. This is the perfect size. I can lie pans, cookie sheets, or casserole dishes on it without worries. I'm probably going to buy a second one for holiday banking or dinner parties. The bonus . . . it looks super cute!

It did protect the table from damage however the mat itself melted a bit and turned brown

I've been eyeing this runner for a while now and with the upcoming holiday (July 4th) I knew it would be perfect to use for our holiday celebrations. It comes rolled up and immediately lies flat on the table once you open it up. That tells you right away that it's a thick material, you don't have to put anything on top of it to hold it down. The back is also grippy, so it stays where you put it, you don't have to worry about it sliding when you are placing hot pots or pans on top of it. Currently, we are using it on our bartop, and it is a great place to make cocktails. If I spill a little something, I can just wipe it clean - or handwash the whole thing in the sink for bigger messes. During cookout events, it will be center table and holding all of our dishes, foods, and drinks. The star design looks right at home for the Fourth of July as well as the winter holidays and New Year. The size of it is great too - it looks like you could even cut it if you wanted to create smaller runners for other areas of your home. For a tabletop (or bartop) runner, it's the perfect size already. I've tested it out with a hot pan after cooking some pasta and it didn't scorch the material and it kept my table nice and cool and mark-free. Highly recommended!

4 1/2 stars ~ Easy to wipe up most messes. Have to work a little harder on spaghetti stains, but they eventually come off too. I usually put a trivet under the pad if I place an oven-hot dish directly on the pad. This is my second one. Just wish there were more sublte patterns available in earth tones.

I desperately needed a new hot plate but I was nervous to buy one because I’ve had luck in the past with bad products. I finally broke down and bought this one. I’m so glad I did! It looks great on my table and is so practical. I would definitely recommend this product!
