While driving, a car stereo is always the center of your audio experience, and thus it will have to be a good one. The “double DIN” name simply refers to the size of your head unit, which means that it is twice as tall as a single DIN. D.I.N stands for “Deutsches Institut für Normung”, a German group that sets industry standards and which once set the standard for all car radios. Newer cars tend not to follow DIN standards for stereos and instead integrate the stereo’s head unit into the dashboard, which could turn a simple radio installation into a nightmare. So, it’s always a good idea to read your car’s manufacturer service manual before to order a new radio, to double check about how difficult removing the stock one is. That said, the B700 from ESLYYDS comes with everything you need to play all kinds of files on the go. It features the newest Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, so you can make and receive clear calls hands-free, or stream your favorite music from any app without any drop. Plus, you can set up navigation too, on a much bigger screen than your phone. There’s also HD radio built-in, so you can enjoy a higher quality of radio transmission, wherever you go. The phone-link (and mirror) functionality allows you to plug in your phone via a USB-C to USB cable (not included), to the USB port (in front) of the radio. Once connected, everything you see or do on the phone will be mirrored on the radio’s screen, and you will also be able to control everything on your phone through the unit’s touchscreen, which is also quick and responsive. Plus, the front USB port has enough output power, allowing you to also charge your phone when you’re on the move. Another kind of “buried” function this radio has, was that you can even use the rear A/V input to play videos for your kids when you’re on the move. Alternatively, connect the (included!) backup camera so you can see where you’re going when you’re parking in tight spots. Keep in mind though that the A/V port is located in the rear of the unit, and thus you will have to either just use it for the backup camera, or plug in a special RCA style video extension cord (to purchase separately) to bring up front, to make this plug accessible once the radio is installed, to be able to connect your movie player. The unit also comes with two remote controls. One that look like a remote with full button’s functionality, and another smaller one that is designed to fit on your car’s driving wheel. This is a nice touch in my opinion, because when I am driving, I don’t want to be looking for the remote, or messing up with one that may need my attention. Instead, when driving I can easily access the small remote mounted on my wheel and control my radio, without having to move my eyes much from the road. In conclusion, choosing the right double DIN radio for your car without breaking the bank, can be a bit of a headache. There are so many devices out there to choose from, and each have their own impressive features. For most drivers, this device will exceed expectations, but you might find it’s a little difficult to set things up initially, even with the manual. Like myself, you may find that it may takes a little work to make everything fit properly when you’re installing this device for the first time. Patience and perseverance are advised. 😅

One month after installing, the screen won’t come on at all. Still plays music but extremely hard to navigate with no screen. Hopefully seller makes it right. Still haven’t heard from seller how to resolve this issue. Stereo still has a black screen after resetting several times. I see now why the price has dropped 33%. Complete garbage! Do not buy!

I have purchased many different units in the past for other installs and they were much more expensive with zero extras included. Extremely convenient to have an actual dial versus a touch for volume, as well as instant access for MicroSD/USB right on the front. Powered up the unit and everything works as advertised. Highly recommended for a quick upgrade!

You can adjust the contrast. Touch screen is not very sensitive. Android Auto works great. Radio doesn't fit in double din metra kit only with brackets. The 10 band equalizer is pretty nice. Love how you can type on the screen while driving. Easy hook up. Rca out right and left work great for amps. External microphone input on the back even though it is listed. Not bad for the price.

My issue is the screen quality and brightness. There are only 1 dim/night option. Also the volume knob doesn’t always work. It spins and spins and sometimes changes the volume. I guess the features are ok and glad it comes with the remotes. Mostly bought this so I can have Apple car play.

This was an easy install. Great sound. Good functionality and easy to set up with phone. The touchscreen Good but can be a little difficult to use on bumpy roads.

Very easy, fast installation. The quality of the backup camera video is great. I was worried since this was a cheaper version than what I had in my last car, but I'm 100% satisfied with the quality. The screen looks great and it's very easy to operate. I highly recommend this stereo to anyone looking for a cheaper high quality stereo.

honestly for the price you cant beat it. the touch screen is eh, but i mean for a cheap stereo i really cant complain too much. the interface initially was a bit confusing but i eventually figured out that the menu on the bottom slides to the side for more options. but outside of that the sound quality it pretty mint and it works great with my subs so i would definitely recommend getting it if you want a cheap stereo that has all the nice features but dont want to pay alot (also extra points for the backup camera that was included) (update) after a year or so of having this i can say, this thing is trash, go buy a jvc or something
