Much cleaner than using newspaper and kindling. We already have pellets for our boiler so make sense for us - not sure I’d bother with this if I didn’t already have easy access to pellets. Simple to start. Finding a supply for the lighting gel can be difficult. I buy in bulk when I find it for a good price. Had ours for two years and it hasn’t warped or changed shape.
