51mm 2 Eears Espresso Bottomless Portafilter for Delonghi Stilosa Icona ECP31.21 ECP33.21 ECP35.31 ECP36.31, 304 Stainless Steel with Non-Pressurized Basket

This is a quality one piece “bottomless style” portafilter with a very beautiful exotic hardwood handle that helps one to make good espresso using the De Longi Stelosa with doses of 17- 20g of coffee, depending upon bean density/roast level. It fits perfectly into the group-head with zero water escaping from the sides, but, of course, it must be solidly twisted into place at a standard 90 degree angle to the machine (with the handle pointed directly at the user) or water will escape, as those who have not fully seated the portafilter have “unexplainably” (to them) discovered. It is a huge/ important upgrade that allows nice shots of quality espresso to be produced with the Stelosa (and don’t forget the must-do puck preinfusion), while mating it with the Amazon-sold $9. perfectly fitting, wood handled 51mm tamper.

This really helped my Delonghi Stilosa make great coffee! I had just bought a good tamper, stirrer and dosing funnel. I was able to pull a good shot on the 2nd try (no water channeling and spurting). The Puck screen I used probably helped and makes cleanup much easier. The flavor was so much better than the standard portafilter. This bottomless portafilter also holds more coffee than the standard version. This product is definitely well-made and it's super easy to clean. Highly recommended!

First time i used it, no leakage. Second and third time it was like a garden hose with a hole in it. Espresso squirting everywhere. As many many other reviewers stated, this thing leaks bad! I also noticed that when i rinsed it out it has water "stuck" inside of itself now? And the basket isn't removable so you can't clean it out properly. Find something that works better if you have a DeLonghi Stilosa you're wanting to replace the pressurized portafilter with.

Solid and feels well made like it will last. Nice looking too. Does not quite fit properly in my DeLonghi EC 702, like that little tabs on the side aren't quite thick enough so you have to be careful to put it in right. The crimp on the edge of the portafilter is overbent so it tends to have difficulty sealing with occasional high pressure spray from the seal even if you crank it hard. The flange should go upward as it goes out from center and this one goes downward meaning there is a knife edge seal on the inside when you tighten it in. Overall works good and I'll still use it but not 100% happy.

I have not found one single con yet with this portafilter. Every aspect of my espresso was improved. It took me about 5-6 shots to really dial in the grind but once you get there it's amazing.

This does not fit the DeLonghi Stilosa EC260 machine. While you might be able to force it to fit, it seems like doing so could damage the machine. Trying to tighten it in place is very difficult and makes a grinding noise. The ears on the original pressurized based are tapered so that it slowly tightens down, the ears on this are thicker and solid without any taper, making it much tougher and riskier to tighten fully into place. Quality itself is very nice. Handle is beautiful and smooth, craftsmanship is great. Just doesn't fit as described.

Does adapt to my Delonghi Stilosa, I still need to dial in the grind size and tamping. But the reason for not giving 5 stars is that its wooden handle isn't tightly screwed on so when I went to latch it into my machine it spun all my grounds onto the ground. Having a loose tightening on a piece that is frequently turned is not ideal.

Doesn’t work with De Longhi ECP3630 as stated. leaks when you use it but great quality build and look if it fits your model

デロンギのECP3220Jで使用しました。うまく出来たときはうれしい。見えるから、粉の詰め込みがうまくいったか目で確認できるのがまたボトムレスの良さと思います。純正より美味しさUPしますね。途中、目詰まりある？とおもったけど、使用後の洗いが甘くて粉が詰まってるだけでした。目詰まりと勘違い注意ですね。均一な穴が開いている製品です。買ってよかった。👍️

Fonctionne très bien sur ma Delonghi. Et en complément, je peux y installer le panier de ma Rok pour utiliser le même tamper. Certes, le panier fourni n'est pas équivalent à ceux de grandes marques, mais c'est largement suffisant. Rien à redire, ça fait son job

This portafilter works for my Delonghi Stilosa EC260 espresso machine pretty well so far. I haven't used the included non-pressurized filter basket because I prefer the pressurized ones (they're easier to work with). Thankfully, the pressurized filter baskets I have fit this portafilter without too much difficulty. I also have a tall measuring cup that keeps the espresso from splashing everywhere (pretty much a requirement if using pressurized baskets with bottomless portafilters. I haven't used the included filter basket because it's non-pressurized and I prefer using the pressurized ones (they're easier to work with) The quality and build seems pretty good. It IS a bit tight to put on the espresso machine, even if it's empty, but does fit. I do recommend this portafilter if you're looking to get a bottomless one.

This fits my DeLonghi ECP35.31 perfectly. Seems well made and very strong. Handle has a nice finish and feel and can be removed or replaced if necessary. Recommended.

Bought to use it with the delonghi stilosa 260.gr It fits a little bit too tight but no leaking water when u pour a shoot. I use a msi basket h26 to pair it works great. The product looks great, the materials too. Just the handle is not really tight attached to the portafilter itself but it turns a little bit too easy but nothing to worry about
