Works well and keeps injuries clean
I never used hydrocolloid bandages previously so this is my first experience with them. These were easy to use and apply. You can cut them into sizes as needed. I used them for a variety of injuries of different sizes and can say that they definitely helped keep my wounds clean. I used these primarily because I wanted to go swimming and needed a bandage that was waterproof. These did the job perfectly! I was also happy to tlsee that they seemed to help heal my skin faster and so I kept using them even after swimming and just kept them on. I could see where the bandages were absorbing excess moisture it was pretty cool.

Excellent product
It helped sooooo much on my open wound behind my thigh. Really sped up the healing process and recovery. It also alleviated a lot of the pain and soreness. The results really blew my mind they’re awesome. After this dressing blew my mind I did a bit of researching about the product and I found out I can even put these dressing on popped pimples. I have severe hormonal acne can’t wait to try it on out with these

Great product!!!
I wasn't expecting anything, I guess. It's just a bandaid, I thought, but I'm leaving a review right now, which is extremely rare. I mean, it works. It's not as heavy as "ointment and bandaid". It felt much lighter, it is convenient, not messy, comfortable, feels good on the skin, quality material, even the delivery was faster than usual. Loved it!

Non-irritating and adhere well
These individually packaged sterile 4" x 4" size extra thin hydrocolloid wound dressings can be used as is or cut to a smaller size as needed, making this box of 10 a useful choice to have on hand. They're thin and flexible enough to conform to difficult to dress places such as knees and elbows, and they adhere well once placed. You can even shower with these on, yet they're easier and less painful to remove than regular bandages. These dressings are intended to be used for mildly exudating wounds like burns, minor cuts, abrasions or non-full thickness bedsores.Hydrocolloid dressings help wounds heal faster than regular bandages by keeping the wound area moist. The inner, hydrocolloid adhesive layer has particles that absorb exudate to form a hydrated gel over the wound, creating a moist environment that promotes healing and protects new tissue, while the outer layer forms a seal that keeps the moisture in and protect the wound from bacterial contamination. A moist dressing helps skin cells regenerate faster, helps the body absorb dead or damaged tissue, reduces the formation of scabs and scars, and reduces pain signals to nerve endings. These dressings can stay on for 3 to 7 days as well, so the burn or wound isn't disturbed by constant dressing changes which promotes faster healing. Since the moist environment helps the body absorb dead tissue naturally there's no need to physically debride the wound either, so wounds heal quicker, don't scar as much (if at all) and make the injury less painful as well. These are a must have for my family's first aid supply!

Work Well For Low Exuding Wounds
These self-adhesive hydrocolloid wound dressings come in a box of ten. They are designed for low exuding wounds. My mom's wound is a moderately exuding wound, so I used a square of calcium alginate to increase absorption. The dressing turns white when it gets wet, so you know when it needs changing. There were some areas where the dressing did not adhere well, but my mom's wound is not completely flat due to some scar tissue. I think if the area around the wound were completely flat, it would adhere fully. The dressing is thin and flexible, so it is comfortable to wear. I think these are a pretty good value.

When I see a photo like this on the box….
I’m expecting much much more than the thinnest excuse of a toilet paper of a sheet I have ever seen. I’m sure they have a purpose, and I’m sure they work for many many people… but I was jumping to the conclusion that these were going to be a little bit thicker than they are. Most companies claim that their’s are extra thin yet you have a little bit more cushion, stretchiness, pliability. Not at all what I needed to help cushion my amputated leg stump. Back to my trusted duo derm. :)

Great first aid supplies
These are great. They’re think of them as super Band-Aids that create a safe zone for your wound. It keeps it protected disinfected and moist to allow to heal faster. Every first aid kit should have some of these. These are about 4 in.² so they’re really suited for a medium to larger size first aid kit. You can cut them to size or use them to cover a fairly decent size wound. In fact if you needed any bigger you probably need to go to the hospital. The adhesive works very well although I tend to wrap it up in a bandage anyway. I’m very happy with the performance of these.

Takes Wound Care To A Whole New Level
I took care of my aging father (and also helped on occasion with my mother and step mother as they aged as they lived further away) for many years and did a LOT of wound care. These hydrocolloid dressings are so helpful with messy wounds. I love how thin they are and that you can cut them to fit smaller wounds. They absorb any fluids, reduce maceration (what happens to skin when exposed to fluid for too long), helps with debridement (removal of dead/infected tissue) and keeps the wound clean and protected.Don't use them if the person has fragile skin or on serious wounds without seeking medical attention first.
