These worked very well with my rack mount. Keep in mind that not all rack mounts are well made. I had 4 components that had to be put into the rack mount. Out of the 12 screws I needed, only one screw got stripped. It was not the quality of the screw that was in question. It was the mount strips (the rack rail) that did it. The rack rail was not the best.

They're screws and they do the job. They are for the Reliable Hardware rack rails. Other screws labeled "rackmount screws" will not work with that rail unless you look for the specific screw size. My set came with 27 screws and washers - that's two extra. However, one of the screws came without a proper philips head slot. No big deal - they probably include a couple more screws to compensate for the lenient quality control.

I was skeptical at first, being that I don't usually order server rack items from Amazon. Ive heard horror stories of others getting the wrong size rack screws or the wrong thread pattern. Well, I bought 4 packs of these and couldn't be happier. They work as described and as they should. When your mounting thousands of dollars worth of server equipment, you cant play around with little things like screws. These work, work well and for the price, is a fantastic deal. I will be ordering more in the future as needed.

You invest money in your equipment and rack or flight case, so why not consider quality of your rack mounting screws? Believe me, it makes a difference in the consistently of securing your equipment to avoid risk of cross-threading or damaging your rack or flight case. I've tried four different brands, including those supplied with major equipment manufacturers, and the Reliable Hardware Rack Rail Screws, are the best I've found, so far. With only one exception out of 50, these hardened black screws have precision matched threads, broad cap heads, excellent anodized finish and quality surpassing any other fastener I've tried. While discovering one damaged screw out of 50 isn't a deal-breaker, I still emphatically endorse these rack screws and washers as the best quality fastener for securing your equipment.

Seems like a great set of screws and washers but did not work for my ICC rack. As I was installing they seemed to work until it was fully screwed in they would just go loose. My fault for not checking the size i needed for this rack. I needed the 12-24 thread and these are 10-32 thread. Be sure to double check the thread type you require before ordering. I just ordered a shelf for my rack and this popped up in the frequently bought together section and I jumped the gun. I will give it 5 stars as they seem to be very good and delivery was as expected (sealed plastic bag within a yellow padded envelope). Will keep it to use the nice washers.

I would like to think that the product description wasn't misleading but when I see "25 Sets" you would think 50 total...right? In my shortage of rack screws I figured I would just swing down to the local Guitar Center and pick up a bag there to finish my project. After waiting for about 15 minutes for a sales person to finish up with who I'm sure was Sammy Hagar, I told the salesman my dilemma and he said, "no problem, I have a bag of 25 right here...that will be $25.00 plus tax. Rather than make a scene I chose not to say a word. I smiled at the kind salesman, turned around and went to Home Depot. 5 Stars.

Used them instead of the hardware that come in a small rack. Seem to be beefier that the ones that come with. Solid choice.
