Tide Ultra Oxi was highly rated by Consumer Reports (one of the best), so I am trusting their judgement. It is a little more expensive than many of the cheapo brands, but the difference on a per load basis is relatively minimal, so it seems worth it. Our clothes are clean and smell fresh and we have no allergic reactions to it.

DO ALOT OF WASHING...TRIED ALOT OF SIMILAR BRANDS...THIS IS STILL THE BEST..NO RESIDUE ON CLOTHES...NO HEAVY SMELL TO COVER ANY ODORS..DOES THE JOB WELL...98% REMOVES STAINS THAT HAVE SAT IN TOWELS OR SUMMER CLOTHES FOR AWHILE..OFTEN USE IT FOR SPOT CLEANING ON WOOL RUGS AND FURNITURE..GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE LONG HAUL....

Tide is the only laundry detergent we use—and for good reason. It gets clothes super clean, smells great, and handles tough stains without a problem. We’ve tried other brands in the past, but nothing beats the consistent results we get with Tide. It’s a staple in our laundry room and always will be!

Tide is a dependable laundry detergent that consistently delivers clean, fresh clothes. This version performs really well on regular loads - removing dirt, sweat, and even mild stains without much effort. I appreciate how little product is needed for each wash, and it works just as well in cold water, which helps save energy too.However, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the scent. It’s not unpleasant, but I personally prefer the fragrance that comes with the yellow packaging (Tide Original). That scent feels fresher and more classic to me, while this one is a bit too heavy in comparison.Still, as far as cleaning ability goes, Tide continues to be one of the most reliable detergents out there. If scent isn’t a big deal for you, then this is a great choice for day-to-day laundry needs.

I'm usually hesitant buying detergent online because they almost always send me the wrong one and I'm nervous it will leak everywhere. Let me tell you - the packaging for this detergent was top notch. It was so secure in its own separate box in another box so I didn't even realize what I was opening at first. It almost seemed a little overkill but it made sure that nothing was going to open or spill so I was really impressed. Didn't think I would ever be "fan girling" amazon packaging but here we are. They also sent me the right one that I ordered. I got it on sale which was nice. And the detergent itself is great. A little goes a long way. Happy customer here. I recommend.
