After reading that there will be a spider invasion, they will be prevalent when the temperature drops . So, I took decisive steps to prevent me going into terror mode if I see just one spider in my house.Plugged one in the hall, bedroom, lounge and kitchen so will see if they work as the autumn goes into winter. Have also bought peppermint spray and have been very liberal with it around all the window frames and any slight gaps around pipes and skirting boards.During the first few days of use insects and rodents will escape from their hiding holes as the ultrasonic waves will disturb them and come into homes through any gap they can find. Thereafter they will start to escape from your home as the soundwaves will repel them altogether.The only minus is the constant beeps from the plugs as they emit the waves, it is like having continual tinnitus but you only hear them when the TV, music and radio or any noise is switched off.If you are a light sleeper they could keep you awake if you are easily disturbed by the slightest sound.

When we moved into this house, the garage was completely off limits. It had fallen to the Spider Kingdom. Open the garage door, and there'd be at least 10 running around on it. Anything we threw in there for storage before fleeing for our lives would be covered in cobwebs overnight.So roll on a few months, I'm taking over the kitchen table with all my electronics repair stuff, so I'm being forced to turn Spider Keep into a workshop. Looked around for some ultrasonic "spider go awayers" and the reviews are a bit rubbish all in all.Came across these, good value for money and you get four in a box. I could double up, I thought. Really wind up the eight legged monstrosities.Anyway, they arrive, I plug them in in the garage, one near the garage door, one near the back, and watch the little light warm up and come on (must be a super capacitor in there), then the first ultrasonic pulse. You can definitely hear it, and if you have pets, probably don't use them in the house. Doesn't bother me so much though as I'm happy that they're doing their job.And on that note, the first couple of days, I noticed a lot more spiders. The kingdom must have received reinforcements (or they've just come out from hiding wondering what all the noise was). After that however, aside from two spiders at the back who are the true silent generation type who will not be uprooted (aside from heading inside a vacuum at a high velocity). I've noticed no new spiders in there since.So, I'm not sure how they work, but they do seem to be working. They're also not overheating. I had one before this house that got really really hot. These are cool to the touch and I feel much better about leaving them in the garage running.Definitely recommend these.

I have noticed less bugs this summer. Spider season is nearly here though😳 so I'm hoping they really make a difference then. Only 3 plugs worked though. The other plug was making an horrific high pitched screeching sound, which was quite disappointing as I could have really done with it. This is what is stopping me from buying this brand again, so I'll be looking elsewhere I'm afraid.

We've had them plugged in throughout the flat for a couple of weeks now and haven't seen any mice since. The only thing is they occasionally make a high pitched beep, but it's a small price to pay for a mice-free flat!

Seems good so far but can hear the high pitch on one item which is quite annoying but seems to have removed pests

Have only had this on for about a week.Another repellent that I had started buzzing it’s nuts off so had to be replaced.Bought this one based on price and the reviews.You can hear this one a bit though. As it changes it’s frequency or activates or whatever it is that it’s doing you hear it then it goes silent until the next cycle.But that’s minors.It’s definitely disturbing those pesky cockroaches as im finding them upside down in the middle of the floor with their teeny little legs flailing around lol.Good.Flushing you down the loo.Good riddance. 👍🏼

Was surprised to see how tiny these are. Nice and discreet and seems to do the job, haven't heard anything in days.

Not had any problems using this product appears to work as advertised 👍
