My grandchildren love their train engine and is a main part of their BRIO train set.

It's reliable
Very nice little engine, lacks a bit of power, but only one AAA don't expect too much.

Brio battery powered train
Like. Good quality, very well make, can pull or push 8+ carriage, vibrant colour, one fully charged aaa battery last a couple plus hours.Dislike. Painfully slow, my 3 year old grandson lost interest watching it going round the track after a few minutes. And is quite pricey. The tracks has too be perfectly lined up especially around bends to avoid derailing. ( if this happened, grandson will send in the rescue teams, police car, fire engine, ambulance, cranks….………….)Would recommend.

Better than expected
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this train then read some terrible reviews so I wasn’t expecting much but it’s actually good the speed is fine for my little boy it’s not very good at going up bridges with many wagons connected. I would recommend using new batteries I doubt they will last to long. Overall I’m pleased and do is my son :)

Looks good and works pretty well. Fun for my son.
Works well on my son's brio tracks. Forward and reverse are fine but it's a little weaker / slower than a couple of other trains we've got.Downside of these trains is that they can leave the track fairly easily if you don't have the bends nice and tight and it's easy for little ones to forget to turn it off so buy shares in Duracell! Also can be awkward for my 2 yr old to turn it off as the switch needs to be moved to the centre between fwd and reverse. He's getting used to it though.John Lewis do a brio compatible train and that's probably better value and a bit better looking.
