The story and the enemies to lovers is just *Chefs kiss* It was so addictive I wish I could go back and read it for the first time all over again!! 10000000/10 will definitely recommend this book for people who love romance story’s with some fighting and drama involved!!!

Ive read a lot of books so my taste in books is a bit critical but this is a very good read! Worth it for those looking for a fantasy romance with a moving plot. With the exception of a few indulgent points the author wrote for the female lead, the story is very well written, the romance is heartfelt and engaing. The dialouge. Im so big on dialouge and again it's well written. Nothing corny here. So i dont have any major complaints. You will remember the story long after you finish the series, a sign of a great story. The female lead is a bit indulgent but she becomes a much stronger character in the second book. A bit of indulgence is expected in a YA novel but not too heavy with this one.Enemies to lovers, yes! And thank God the male lead is no simp!!!The first book focuses on the romance. And the second, involves more intrigue in the action as the characters find their way by maneuvering through the dangerous pitfalls that are holding them back from their goal.Wonderful and satisfying ending.Definitely one ill keep coming back to. Thank you mary Peterson! A great addition to fantasy romance aficionados 🥰For reference my favorite fantasy series are the cruel prince and the red rising series.

I like the storyline

This set is twice as much as just buying the 2 books individually. I’m not sure why this set is $45 when both books individually are $10 each.

I’ve had a busy week at home with bedroom renovations so when I wasn’t able to sit and read I HAD to continue to absorb this story so I switched to audio while I painted and assembled furniture! I needed to absorb everything that this series was.Book 1 was based on these characters as individuals, learning about them, what motivated them, who motivated them. I just fell in love with the way Jase and Kazi spoke to each other and the sayings that kept them going. Book 2 was more so about an outside force keeping them apart and just a lot more intense all around. The amount of times I audibly gasped or spoke out loud to myself in anxious rage was enough that my husband was like “girl you good??” 😅 to which I said “I mean I am, but Kazi and Jase sure aren’t”.•I absolutely recommend this series to anyone who loves a beautiful love story, who appreciates a tough as nails FMC and an MMC who will do whatever it takes to be with the woman he loves.
