I use this product when I get junk mail and it works great

This works great to block out info on any paper. It has wide, dark ink coverage and covers in one roll. Cannot see through it like you can with permanent marker. Not at all messy to use.

I got one of these as a small gift from a friend a few years ago. I put it in a drawer and kind of forgot about it for awhile, until I got the idea to use it to block out shipping label info and bar codes on used boxes. I sell online, and I reuse boxes whenever I can. I hate to peel off the used labels for a couple of reasons. First of all, they can be extremely hard and time consuming to remove. Secondly, it can ruin my fingernails while trying to do this. And lastly, sometimes more than the label is removed and I feel that weakens the integrity of the box.These little rollers solve all these problems with one or two swipes across the info that I want to conceal. The little x's & o's COMPLETELY cover the unwanted information. And they last a long time. The 1st one lasted a couple of years. These should last me quite a while.

Since being diagnosed with cancer 18 months ago I have acquired many bottles of prescription pills and lots of paperwork. I used to shred all junk mail that had my name and address on it. Now I have so much unwanted paperwork and just a mountain of shred.. These rollers have solved a big problem for me. They really do a good job of obliterating information that I don't want to put out with the recycle. So much easier and faster than shredding.

I buy a lot of lego and when I say a lot of lego I mean lots. Over the past few years, probably I get about a thousand shipments not including stuff that I buy from Amazon. So instead of labour intensive pealing of labels, I just roll over the address label a few times and you are good to go.... except when I took a photo to add a photo with my review I found the flaw... apparently the ink that Lego uses for their label is a glossy reflective ink and the ink on the Roller Guard is a flat black so under bright lights after taking the photo I can see my name and address reflecting like a 3d floating ink above the photo but if you have to look for it but yes you can read my name and address clearly even though the whole label has been blacked out several times. At a glance the label is unreadable. Take a photo and my name and address is just floating above the black layer. Oh well.... It is good enough. I have been using a Guard ID for years and just one roller will last you for years. Not perfect but good enough.
