Are there molds for the kiln? for example, heart shape for pendants, etc.

No they don't have molds. It's glass fusing. I do think you might be able to get precut shapes like hearts ovals etc. But expensive if you can. It's made for cutting your own shapes with the glass cutter. Pretty easy to do once you get used to it. Like all things a takes practice n learning as you go. But I do think they have shapes. Might check hobby lobby or the manufacturers web sight.

Description says it's a large kiln. What is the measurement of the kiln tray in inches please.

This is probably "large" for a microwave kiln - but, it is not very big at all. I don't think that it is 6" high. I bought it as a gift for my husband (I am Judy). It is something that he has not used yet.

Will this work for shot glasses?

I think a shot glass has too much volume for the small kiln. Don't know what they trying to accomplish.

There were no instructions included with the kit. Is it possible to get the instructions?
