Return first one new one was sent and this one was the same, instead of the mattress expanding the longer we used it the shorter it got. Perhaps to do with my husband being on the larger side (17 and a half stone). The mattress ended up about 10 to 12 inches to short for the bed. Didn't bother to return this time as it was cheap, and more hassle that it was worth to return it. On the plus side mattress looks good and not terribly uncomfortable, might be ok for a child's bed, if it is a weight issue. ### ⭐ Five Stars - now one star *by A***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 May 2015* Comfy mattress, on time delivery!IMPORTANT UPDATE I now have had the benefit of limited use and sadly have to report that quite frankly these mattresses are very poor quality and not fit for purpose. After less than six months of light use two broken springs now project through the side ‘support’ which is the equivalent of two sharp nails poking out of the side, which could cause injury, and has torn the side of the fitted sheet. I see a previous reviewer has suffered the same fate so this is not an isolated incident.Please ignore any claim of memory foam – it is so thin that it is almost non-existent.The response to my complaint (with photos) to Bed Express- a vague email absolving themselves of any responsibility and no reply at all to my second email - so much for customer service. A sharp spike protruding through the mattress top, torn sheet and if doing more than sleeping as this is all I use it for, then a serious injury could be caused by sliding down and tearing your skin on the extremely sharp point.No matter what it cost, it is obviously not fit for purpose and is very dangerous.Have tried for two days to contact Joseph International. Yesterday, 23 calls to them and they cut me off each time. Today have tried to contact to speak with someone and no answer. Next step, Trading Standards.12/04/2018After numerous telephone calls and emails to Amazon I am still no further in getting a replacement for this dangerous item. The 'third party seller' I purchased from has disappeared from Amazon shortly after purchasing this item evidently and Amazon will take no responsibility for this. Amazon customer services just keep telling me to contact the seller. I keep telling them that the seller has disappeared as they already know and that emails just bounce back.I have uploaded a picture of the spike protruding through the mattress.
