A handy brush. From the handle down it is 14" and the brush bit of that is 9". It reaches down to the bend in my kitchen sink so handy for clearing the plug hole area down. The photo is a bit misleading the brush bit is stiff and it does NOT bend. In fact the photo shows that it is ALL bristle but the bit between the 9" brush and the handle which is approx 5" long is bendy - this gives you some flexibility with cleaning the inside of the pipe but it does NOT go around corners. Having said that because of length a handy brush and fit for the purpose I intend it for. Someone else has commented that the end rubber had come off and caused problems - it looks like it might come off in time but under that is the end of the wire and I think it will still function well. Time along will tell how long it lasts but I am so far happy.

Disappointed with this. Picture shows it bending but it doesn't bend to go down the overflow as I'd hoped. 1st time I used it the plastic bit on the end fell off so if I use it now it's likely to scratch the sink. Might have other uses I guess

The brush head is a little wider than I would have liked and its spiral of nylon bristles could do with being more dense. I can't say how hard-wearing it is so far as I use it only occasionally. The brush head is separated from the handle by 5" of plastic coated wire; probably a good thing but not as illustrated on amazon.

I have two daughters with long hair, I have one of the plug covers with holes in but still the water drains slowly, so i got this as the reviews on the plastic ones were either fantastic or total rubbish! Arrived a few days ago, popped into the drain and at fist didn't bring out much but after a couple of prods it got the start of such a monster i had to use both hands (wearing rubber gloves) to pull out the mass of entwined black gunk & hair....it was the yukkiest thing i think i have ever seen!! but it did the trick and my water now flows freely...!! definitely recommend.

Managed to get into my kitchen and bathroom sinks and give them a good clean with this. The brush is a little wider than expected but still managed to get down the drains easy enough.

Brush section not very flexible

I bought this brush with a particular task in mind, rather than the purpose which is described for so I need to be fair! It was the longest & smallest diameter I could find on line & the hope was that it could be used to clean out a long & narrow gap between the shower & the washstand in my bathroom. Because it is an overflow brush the brush is too bendy & flexible (for my purpose) & regretably fell short (pun intended) by about four inches... I am sure it is fine for its intended task & the MASSIVE box it was delivered in got 5 stars from our cat!

The brush works well and is quite sturdy. Much easier to clean than similar products, but it seems to require several attempts to remove hair from the sink drain.
