Sturdy, Precise and Powerful
Very high torque and sturdy construction. For mounting requires two short M2 bolts (most motors of this size use M3).

Well made.
The gearbox is sealed, so a better choice over the smaller N20 or N30 type motors if you have space for it.Despite appearences, the gearbox is not planetary/epicyclic but is a multistage reduction using steel gears like the N20/N30 motors. The reduction ratio is fixed by type, so be careful which one you order. I have the "200RPM" which is the fastest in the range but unfortunately too slow for my application where it has to drive a worm gear that already gives some reduction. I will see if I can make it a 1:1 bevel gear drive which should then be about right. It runs smoothly although the motor whines a bit at the full 12v power.

Superb
I initially bought just the one to try out in a Marble Machine I'm designing. The motor is very well made, it feels "weighty" and certainly is solidly made. The gearbox (looks like the body is a thick aluminium casting) has two screw attachment points, the drive shaft is sleeved in a 7mm bushing which looks to be made either of Brass or maybe Phosphor Bronze. Impressed! It will turn (at reduced rpm) down to about 6 volts and is happy running from a 9v PP3 battery. Altogether, a nicely made solid bit of kit. For the money (at time of review £7.08) it's a bargain, so much so I have just purchased another two for whatever future projects may come up! Highly recommended.

Compact and powerful
Used to motorise a Ugears model windmill. Very effective with a 12 volt plug in adaptor.

Great little motor.
The same motor as you'll find on may m any things, but the gearbox is good and strong, loads of torque. I haven't measured the 'weight' going through it at the moment, but it's more than I expected it to handle.

rpm selection
This unit advertised as a High Torque variable speed motor, with four speed options. But seems to have been supplied as a fixed 200rpm speed motor with no instructions on how to adjust the speed (If possible) to my requirement of 15rpmCan you help pleaseRegardsKevin Ward
