Curry Powder Madras Hot 750 g

Good curry powder, a good amount of heat, nice & spicy

Ordered this with another bag of curry so am copying and pasting the same review over. Which is as ever Old India never fail to disappoint - lovely big bag of super powder. I've been buying all my spices n stuff from them for a good few years now and can truly say I've never had a problem - all their products are top rate. Thank you again Old India - I'm going to have too order my cracked black pepper from you I forgot to add it to this order.

This has a nice, complex flavour but if you want any heat in your curry you should add some fresh chillis or hot chilli powder (pure powdered chilli, not the supermarket stuff with cumin and salt). I cooked 500g chicken and used 6 level teaspoons of the curry powder and it tasted very good (you also need garlic, ginger and other things - do a search for recipes on YouTube).

Have been using Bolt's curry powder for years but the last lot was so disappointing I decided to throw it out and try something new. This is far better and tastes lovely. Quite hot by my standards but so tasty. Definately recommend

The smell and taste is as it ought however I have tasted better blends. Its a quality product though.
