You get what you pay for! Liquitex is a nice Gesso! I’ve used cheap brands & got terrible results! This product covers my canvases & allows my paints to last longer! Great buy & lots of product. Kind of expensive but I think it’s worth the price!

I love this transparent gesso !!’ But the order arrived with a broken lid, so the top part was dried up. Luckily I can replace it with the lid from my previous order.

I purchased this gesso for priming plywood panels for use with oil painting. I might thin it just a little next time I use it, as it's just a little bit thick. It sands very nicely when dry, and I was able to get a very smooth surface to paint on with little effort. Works great, no odor, and easy cleanup. It's water based, so you can thin with water, and very easy to use.

Used this before with great results, but this gallon was mistreated by a shipper somewhere along the line. HALF WAS GONE AND A LEAKED MESS. Not the products fault was shipped laying on its side.
