VEVOR Inline Duct Fan, 8-Inch 750 CFM with Variable Speed Controller, Quiet AC-Motor Ventilation Exhaust Fan for Cooling Booster, Grow Tents, Hydroponics

Excellent so far after a week of use. I installed this to provide active fresh makeup air for my range vent exhaust. Inline with a damper that feeds directly into my HVAC air return, this fan and easily adjusted speed controller has allowed me to balance interior pressure with the highest setting setting my middling 375cfm hood fan can provide. In testing at full speed, it was able to pressurize the house by about the same amount my hood was depressurizing. So for the money, these fans definitely seem to meet their rated airflow spec and really do move a LOT of air. Mounting it on a shelf was super easy. Using rigid ducting was an easy fit, crimped or uncrimped. Just pay attention to how the motor housing assembly can fall apart after removing it from the bracket for mounting. It's not a big deal and easy to figure out how it goes back together, but the interior venturi bezel is not fixed in place when the motor section is removed and may fall to the floor if you aren't careful. It's also reasonably quiet. I can hear a slight humming sound through the wall into the adjoining kitchen when it is on, but that is likely because I did not use the isolation feet though, so that is on me. In the garage where it's mounted, I can scarcely hear it at all over the central HVAC fan running. Obviously, wiring requirements may vary, but having a plug has been a convenient extra (with a smart outlet currently controlling it) until I can get it hardwired into a proper makeup air control from my vent hood.

This worked well and is quieter than the one I was replacing, but it is louder than expected. It is quiet at very low settings, but noise increases very quickly with the speed.

Bought this to pump air through a filter unit in a chicken coop. It works well enough that I am often cleaning the actual vent I installed because it’s getting clogged! I wasn’t sure it was strong enough, but the amount of dust and dander that’s getting sucked through says otherwise. There’s definitely a sound to it, I wouldn’t call it loud, but it’s louder than you’d think it would be. Great price. Very sturdy item. So far, no complaints.

Don't rely on the description. This fan moves a lot of air, but it is not quiet. it makes way too much noise at all speeds to be useful in a living environment. Might work for a shop, but not in your dwelling. At high speeds it moves a lot of air, and makes noise from the air flow. This is understandable. But at low speeds it vibrates and rattles annoyingly, making it unusable. All this would be OK, if you could return it. I opened the package and plugged it in sitting on my kitchen counter top. It was too loud at all speeds. I put it back into the packaging with all the unopened parts that came with it. When I filled out the return form on Amazon, it responded the item was not returnable. So, I guess I will throw it out or give it to Goodwill. Needless to say, I am not happy at all with this item and the return policy. I will likely not take a chance on Vevor products in the future. All in all, the value to me is worthless. The noise level is high. The quality is low. The performance is OK if you can stand the noise.

I bought this to use as a boat hull blower/dryer and it works great! This fits right on the seal of an 8” hatch I have on my bow and blows air throughout my hull. It helps dry it out while mitigating water buildup due to humidity keeping my hatches, pumps and everything else dry when not in use.

Ive went through 5 different kind of duct fans these past couple months and I ended up ordering this one because it looked sturdy. This thing is built extremely tough and isnt very loud . It has a speed controller and is absolutely worth the money . I actually tried to send this one back because it wouldn't fit in my duct I was trying to put it in and the company refunded my money and just told me to keep it. So obviously their customer service is 10/10 . Ill use this one on my next project

Received the product with no manual, no hardware screws to install it and a product much different from what is pictured and listed here, the mounting bracket was not metal as pictured it was a cheap plastic mount, that I am not confident will mount securely overtime the plastic feels very cheap on this as you will see in my pictures. I extremely hate when companies try to deceive people by showing you one thing but sending you something different or a possible returned product that wasnt inspected before they sent it, on top of that the controller I received was damaged. All 4 switch screw mounts were split from the screws and the dial was broken also, the dial upon turning it popped right off and the housing for the switch fell apart, it wont even hold shut. Needless to say I need a whole new switch with cord, currently I am not feeling very confident with Vevor at the moment, and the fact that this is now delaying my Co2 Laser engraving machine from running due to this issue. When I contacted there company about the warranty, they basically said they cannot help me because there Amazon " Colleague " is separate from there company and they are the ones who need to help me via email. because they cannot find my order they cannot warranty the device, themselves as the main company, that makes no sense to me whatsoever, especially when Amazon are the ones linking support directly to there website, Paola was the Vevor rep whom I spoke too. Hopefully they can resolve sending me a new switch or device I am not happy so far, with what I received, especially since this is mounted already. Either way please inspect everything you receive if you purchase this product. Lastly as far as the sound levels they are not too bad as one stated in a review here its not loud but its not super quiet either, once I can eventually get my ducting in I will know more on how good the sound is, this thing does produce good air flow tho. This get 3 stars for now till further testing not only of the equipment but also the customer service

Works as advertised. However, there is a small issue when blowing air through an filter which causes more resistance. Doing this on lowest speed setting will blow out the speed controller and thereby stop the fan from running at all. Not an issue for me as I was just running some tests.

Good item, works very well. It came quicker than stated which was good. Seller was very helpful, they kept me up to date all the time and were very friendly, i highly recommend.

Broke after 6 hours of normal use. Do not recommend.

DO NOT BUY! Don't ignore the other reviews stating its loud.. They are accurate. The variable speed doesn't seem to work at all and the unit emits a concerning electrical buzz while operating. absolute trash product
