Fantastic book.
Oh my, this was read to me as a child and I lived to listen to Mrs Peperpots adventures. And now I can share them with my own children.

GREAT book but significant overlap with other editions
These are fantastic stories and this is a lovely print of them. However, we ordered this after Getting Mrs Pepperpot in the Magic Wood and Mrs Pepperpot to the Rescue and didn't realise this was a sort of omnibus edition which included all the stories from both of them. I have included photos of the contents page so others don't make the same mistake! Our nearly-4yo loves these stories, and I do too!

A trip down memory lane
Mum used to read these stories to me and now I'm reading them to my girls. Love hearing then again :)

A great classic
I love these quirky children's stories : Mrs. Pepperpot is a real character. The stories are short enough to entertain even younger children and would make good bedtime reading. This conpendium brings together a lot of the books previously published individually

Absolutely outstanding!!
I never knew about Mrs Pepperpot when I was a child, how did I miss this? I feel very fortunate to now be reading these stories with my children (7 and 8) who think they are absolutely hilarious. So do I. Although each story is short, they are beautifully crafted, simple but full of interest and within just a few short pages the author conveys so much. This compilation has really captured our imagination and the children love scanning the index of interesting titles to decide which one to read next.Brilliant.

Both children (4&6) are enjoying
Both my children enjoy these short stories which surprised me as I had bought them with only the older one in mind.

Good quality
Sent to my daughter in Australia. Just a passing remembrance of reading it as a child. She loves it and now reads it to her grandson, who also loves it.

Importance of Age.
A big thank you to all reviewers who put in the age of the child for whom these delightful stories are bought. I'm about to give my six-year-old great-granddaughter a copy, simply because my children - far too many years ago to remember their ages! - loved the stories back in the 1960s. I may have to update this when Santa has taken the book to my six-year-old!
